Summit Dental – Todd J. Berggren DDS

Seems varied, probably like any dentist (who likes to go, really?) But the last review kind of surprised me, and thought I’d chime in.
I didn’t find him to be pushy at all. Actually quite down to earth, and seemed to actually, honestly care about me. That’s really all I could ask for, and I’m happy to say he delivered.
The first visit, I’ll admit, I didn’t pay particular attention to the staff. They fit the bill of friendly, nice, but I was mostly taking everything in. On the second visit, I noticed the Dr’s assistant was very gentle. She was very personable, offering a pillow for my neck, and we had a nice conversation about my family. Possibly typical, but a nice touch. The appointment itself went well, with about as little pain as you can hope for in a dental visit.
The third visit I knew it was a good fit for me, because of two little things. From the first visit I hadn’t received a bill for the gas (it’s free!) which I find very cool. Second, the same assistant (nice to always have the same faces) actually asked me about something specific we had talked about. Meaning, she at least cared enough to actually remember my life. It made me feel good.
The Dr. was upbeat all three times, patient enough to explain what was happening, and gave me a couple options each time. Very thorough, and while I can’t say how he is to everyone else, he was great to me. See for yourself if you’re searching for a dentist like I was, you can always decide after you meet him/​them. I’m guessing you’ll have a good experience.

Went for a few visits and was told I had several cavities and need of a bridge replacement. Dr was pushy and something did not feel right. Trusted my instincts and decided to go to another dentist. Turns out cavity issue was overstated and bridge did not need to be replaced. Saved me thousands of dollars. Stay away.

I fist went to Summit Dental when I had a broken tooth. I am extremely scared of going to the dentist, even for a cleaning. When I called to make my appointment Ronda the queen of the front desk squeezed me in the very same day. Pam the best dental assistant in the world made me feel relaxed and calm. Dr. Berggren was absolutely the nicest dentist I have ever encountered. His «bedside manner» is professional, yet extremely caring at the same time. This was the first positive dental experience I have ever had. I have been back to see The amazing staff at Summit Dental many times now over the past 2 years. Dr. Berggren doesn’t belittle you as some dentists are known to do, and he only does work on teeth you actually need work on. He is a very honest man, and has an excellent staff that backs him up. I highly recommend Summit Dental for all of your dental needs. I will never see another dentist again after finding Dr. Berggren.

I went into Summit Dental and was told that I had 7 cavities. I got 2 of them filled by Dr. Berggren and my mouth was sore for an entire week. My cheek was in a lot of pain because the numbing needle rubbed it raw. I went to another dentist with great reviews, and I was told that I only had 2 cavities. I felt very deceived by Dr. Berggren.

Dr. Berggren is great, he puts me at ease when doing my dental work, which is difficult with my dental anxiety. The staff is great about keeping me informed about the procedures I need. Rhonda is very knowledgeable about billing concerns. They are always willing to work with me if I have an emergency dental need. They even called to check on me after a difficult procedure.
