We went to this venue last night to see a couple of my favorite bluegrass bands. I had never heard of this theater so didn’t know what to expect. It’s actually an old church, with the original pews still intact. It seemed full to me and we counted only about 60 people. The performers play on a stage with what looks like a stained glass window behind them. It has a very intimate feel, creating a convivial atmosphere between performers and audience. We really enjoyed the venue and plan to keep an eye on their schedule so we can attend future events here.

Local artist, Michael Thompson performs music from his new album and perhaps some of your old favorites: tonight at Tim Noah’s Thumbnail Theater, at 7PM, 7÷17÷15. I am looking forward to it!

Went for their Valentines Day Play with my 16 month old daughter. She had a blast. Lots of singing and dancing. I like they’re pacing, and the combination of puppets with a lot of sings and dancing plus kids crafts is delightful. Seems like kids under 5 would have a great time at the show I went to. I plan on attending again. Really fun, great for a rainy day! CASHONLY, but other than that really great.

My son who is now 36 years old grew up on Tm Noah. Saw his van outside a local store one day, and stopped and talked to Cindi Sloup(one of the actresses of the theater) Asked ehr aboutwhen they were having something for 3 years old and up. Glad I asked! It was the next day! Toook my daughter in law, and my 3 grand children. The 12 week old could have cared less! The 2 and 3 year olds got a little restless as we got ther e a little bit early, but when the puppets came out… they were enchanted for the entire show. Tim and Cindi came and out danced and sang and inner acted with the kids. My 2 year old grand daughter spend the entire time dancing, bouncing, shaking her hips, smiling and having a blast! My 3 year old grand son who is special needs, had just as much fun! I think the ticket price was $ 6.00 for anyone other than a hold in your lap baby… best $ 24.00 I have spent! Great place to take the kids to when they have their kids shows which I think are the the last Friday and Saturdays of the month.

Wonderful place to visit by yourself or with your family. Always something interesting happening and on Friday nights there are fabulous Open Mics with local artists. Love it!

Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater truly lives up to it’s reputation as ‘a cozy home for the performing arts’! Best OPENMIC in the Puget Sound with professional lighting and sound mixing board, yet in a comfortable and intimate setting. Absolutely lovely! The ‘regulars’ are very welcoming to all who enter.

What an adorable little place. I wish I knew the story of why there were chairs on the walls… Thumbnail was a cozy space for a small to medium size lecture or show. It had pew/bench seating. I went for a talk about wild plants. Great venue for it. I wish it were closer to Seattle!
