Birthday breakfasts was outstanding today. Sandy our server made it even more special. She made us feel at home.

We have been coming to Salish lodge for years just to get away from the every day hustle and bustle not one time can I recall one time we had an issue or was unhappy with anything that they did not accommodate. All the staff are very very kind and courteous. The rooms are very comfortable nice and clean with fireplaces that come with actual wood hot tub fridge all the works! The staff will bee accommodate and spoil you! It is definitely a nice little local get away I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a little getaway that’s not too far away from home! I will definitely come back and I have been a repeat customer for years! Thank you for doing business the way you do Salish lodge!

Higher end dining and food. Parking is a pain in the butt. But beautiful scenery, great food, and good service. Good for events. My only stressor is the parking as I already mentioned.

Ah, they so deserve a 5-star. S-L-O-W is the motto here. Excellent steak, veggies, boar, wine selection(Washington one’s which are great finds) and the best ever cheese cake(goat cheese I believe)!!! We waited about ½ an hour past our reservation. Great waitress who was attentive to our food needs but when she was gone she stated gone. We had to flag down anyone for an extra glass etc. Our main meal was delicious, steak and boar and Romanesque, but it took maybe 40 – 50 minutes. What, were they butchering the food. I guess that’s as fresh as you get but let us know As the long slow service dragged on, the place was nearly empty but no improvement in the service speed

This weekend was my 2 year anniversary. I was visiting Seattle from LA, and Sunday I woke up super refreshed and feeling spontaneous. Having been once before to Salish Lodge and the Dining Room for a girls’ getaway a few months back and loving it, I suggested to my boyfriend we rent a car and drive out to hike at Snoqualmie(about 30 min away) and then have dinner at Salish. Now, last time I went, I became obsessed with the Panzanella salad. I never had anything like it, and it was exceptionally delicious. The online menu no longer listed it, so I called the restaurant and asked if it was still available. I prefaced it with saying how much I loved it, and they called me back to say although they didn’t still make it regularly, they’re not too busy and the chef has offered to run to the store(!!!) and grab some ingredients to make it specially for us in the Dining Room. I was floored. How nice is that? So we made a reservation, rented a car, drove out and hiked to the bottom of the falls, and then arrived for dinner. When we checked in, they said happy anniversary! and led us to the back of the restaurant towards this private room that is almost all windows, overlooking the Falls, and the table covered in rose petals. Then they offered complimentary brut champagne. From the management to the staff and the chef(thank you Eric the manager, and our wonderful server and the head chef), this couldn’t have been a better experience with more delicious food. Also tips for vegetarians, the onion soup is veggie stock(a rarity and amazing) and the goat cheese cheesecake with pine nut brittle, kumquats, gingersnap crust and blood orange gel was beyond delicious and unique.

Loved the food. Just look @ how fabulous it looks. Yes the salmon skillet is all that and more. Very fresh. Loved the view and for a holiday weekend the wait was not bad. Got our table asap. The tip was included for a table of six. Svc was average. The jars of honey are very expensive in the gift shop and very touristy.

Fancy relaxing retreat getaway w beautiful food displays. We came here as a large party for a celebration of New Years Eve. I don’t believe we had reservations and they seated us in about 15 – 20 minutes. We just took a quick walk to see the waterfalls and a couple photos and then we were called in to be seated. It’s very cozy here like a bed and breakfast lodge and it reminded me a scene out of Gilmore Girls. The coffee display was impressive with the whipped cream, brown sugar, white sugar, chocolate morsels, and more all in separate little containers on a fancy serving plate. Meals are fairly pricey equivalent to that of a steak dinner at a moderately priced steak restaurant starting at $ 20 and up. Ok, maybe not a real steak dinner but perhaps a steak dinner at Sizzlers. The salmon skillet was served with greens atop with poached eggs and a biscuit on the side. The best part which stood out were the potatoes with bacon and little bit of smoked salmon tossed here and there. What could have been improved is that the greens got a little soggy after being on the hot smoking skillet plate. They should serve the biscuit in the skillet and the greens on the side, just a suggestion. The fries were tasty as well as they were extra crispy! The big breakfast plate should have included some delish poached or eggs benedict too. I really loved the nice touch on the honey serve in a Le Creuset honey pot. I heard there’s a Costco package deal to stay at this lodge for a getaway, I think that would be totally worth it as this place seems like such a nice retreat from the daily grind. In all, I’d give the restaurant 4-stars for the experience, 3-stars, for the value and 4.5 stars for Snowqualmie, I’m so glad I got to visit, such a refreshing hike!

I called and made a last minute reservation the day prior for New Year’s Eve brunch at 12:30pm. There were only two reservations left and I was happy to be able to get a time slot. The staff was very informative on the phone. We had arrived at the dining room a bit earlier than our reservation time but didn’t have to wait long for our table. We were seated near the window and it wasn’t something I specifically requested for when I made the reservation. Yay! Excellent service from the start! The wait staff was very accommodating, friendly, and quite attentive. Our water glasses were always filled without having to ask. Before the coffee cup was empty, we were asked if we wanted another cup. We were very well taken care of. I had the classic breakfast, which comes with 3 eggs, a ham steak, a strip of hickory smoked bacon, apple pork sausage, hashed potatoes, and a biscuit. The bacon was ok. I would have preferred a thick cut peppered bacon instead. I found the strip of bacon a bit on the thin side for the price I’m paying. I also thought the ham steak was ok. nothing special about it. The Apple sausage I loved! It was delicious! I also loved the hashed potatoes! My friend had the omelette and switched the sides with a pancake and fruit instead of potatoes and a biscuit. The request was accommodated without question. The smoked chicken club came in a jalapeño cheddar bagel and was excellent! Their bloody Mary is awesome! I just wished they didn’t serve it with such a large and wide straw. It seemed awkward to me. Maybe it’s done on purpose so I can drink more and order another. Ha! Their clam chowder is OMG. delicious! It has the perfect seasoning and not too salty like some other places. Yummmmy! The place isn’t very big. I found the ambiance to be quite cozy and relaxing especially if you have a window table. I would definitely be back! I do highly recommend making a reservation.

Fiona and I booked the lodge for high tea, we are both fans of the show Twin peaks, so we wanted to see and eat at the lodge. The lodge and surroundings are amazing and breath taking, the lodge is warm and beautiful in side and out, the staff are Great, friendly and proffrcional. The high tea was ok, the coffee and tea where amazing, the food was hit and miss. The bread on the sandwiches where dry, the frosting on the cupcake had no flab our at all, the rest was good. I’d come here again, but I’d skip the high tea.

Two stars for the view… We joined their Holiday Afternoon Tea, which sounded like a great idea. Our reservation was at 3PM; however, we were not seated until approximately 3:12PM, as they were getting the table ready. There was only one waiter for 5 – 6 tables and while she did a great job, the service wasn’t as fast as one would expect. Well, the service is not the primary reason I would only rate it two stars. The food is… Not only their sandwiches are not tasty, they are not of high quality. Predominance of cheap bread, light amounts of meat and fish made the sandwiches unappealing and, again, not very tasty. To give you an idea, some buns only had 1⁄3 area covered; salmon could not be seen or tasted at all. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant to my fellow Unilocalers.

Decided to make a spur of the moment trip to the Falls and have brunch in the dining room. To our amazement the hostess lead us to a private table room with a window view looking directly over the falls. Honestly they could have served us Hot Pockets at this point and we would been more than happy. The service was first rate and the food was fantastic. My wife had the Salmon Skillet and I had the Dungeness Crab eggs benny. I had it the last time I was here and it was so good it was hard to deviate and try something new. Honestly it’s one of my ALLTIME favorite breakfast dishes. Perfectly cooked and STUFFED with fresh crab meat. Avoided the malls and enjoyed a beautiful sunny afternoon on top of the Falls with some good eats. Not a bad way to spend our Thanksgiving Weekend :)

The location and the coffee assortment make this a 2.5. Everything else makes you want more from this place. When you’re paying top dollar for a meal($ 24 for an omelette) you expect superior service. That superior service doesn’t exist here. My wife was using the ladies room and I was showed to our table. I asked 2 different people at the front to please show her to our table when she came back and both of them assured me they would. Upon my wife’s return they both just stood there and ignored her so she had no idea where I was. Keep in mind they were not that busy at all at this time. The waitress repeatedly walked by our table and neglected to acknowledge us. My water remained empty for the entirety of the meal. I could go on with more but I’ll leave you with this: This place is not worth the price you’ll pay so if that’s important to you then avoid it and find another restaurant.

Flew into Seattle to celebrate our anniversary for the weekend and made reservations at this establishment hoping to have a romantic dinner by the windows overlooking the falls. I asked over the phone to please reserve a window seat and the woman stated they could not do that. This was my first disappointment as we were making a one hour drive specifically to share dinner while looking at the falls through the window. When we arrived all the window seats were already taken. Second disappointment. Our waiter was nice but not what you would expect when paying about $ 245 for dinner for two. We waiter about an hour for our food to arrive. We ordered the Wellington which was $ 125 for two. It was good but I was expecting better considering the price. Our scallop appetizer was very salty and I regretted ordering that as well. After spending all that and being so disappointed in the whole experience I thought that ordering dessert would cheer me up. How can you go wrong with dessert right?! I ordered the chocolate soufflé and it was the worst thing I had ever tasted. Very bitter and not good at all. I only ate enough to finish the ice cream that came with it because I could not bear one more bite of the chocolate. The only part of the meal I enjoyed was the Wellington and I was expecting something a little better. I did get a little sugar candy/chocolate with«Happy Anniversary» written on it.

VENUE: A+! You have a view of the Snoqualmie Falls. It’s inside the Salish Lodge which makes it nice– just like your typical hotel dining room.(well, sometimes, hotel restaurants are just awful) FOOD: C±B — it was just so ordinary. I can’t even remember what I had. its pretty bad if I can’t remember what I ate. I went here with my hubby and my friend and her hubby. I remember they had the short ribs and that was pretty tasty. But that’s all I can remember. Even the dessert, I can’t remember.

I made reservations online, it was so easy. I requested a window seat and told them we were celebrating a retirement. We got there and we seating on time to out reservation. Our waitress Staci was so friendly and professional. She congratulated my mom on her retirement. I was impressed. She even shared some history on the restaurant. The food was tasty and very nice presented. They brought her a desert with a nice piece of chocolate on top that said congratulations. We even got a window seat. It is hard to critique a great place. The one thing is, it was a slight too chilly inside for me and there was a couple flys flying around our table.

Plan ahead! Reserve to increase your chance that you get a table by the window(reservations get priority for window seats). This is a fantastic spot. Get the Country Breakfast and you will have an incredibly satisfying meal — juice, coffee/tea, basket of baked goodies, buttermilk pancakes with crème and maple syrup, fruit and yogurt. Sounds amazing, right? I’m not done! Steel cut oats, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and a buttermilk biscuit. This is about as close to a proper English Breakfast you’re going to find on this side of the pond. Sounds like too much food? It is, so share it with someone else. Have them order something small, and you will avoid the $ 20 split meal charge. Service is great, you aren’t rushed out, and it’s easy to get to — this isn’t a place just for hotel guests, anyone visiting the falls can easily have a meal here.

Brunch for five on a very busy Sunday. The falls and area are awesome and all of the construction is finished. The menu selections were varied and you should have no trouble choosing. Our server was awesome… well trained, very personable, and we all had fun with each other. It was about a 30 minute drive from Capitol Hill and we would do it again. Pricing is aggressive, but I felt it was deserving with the freshness of the ingredients and the excellent staff.

View 4⁄5 Food 5⁄5 Service 5⁄5 This place has a very nice view of the waterfall and the greenery forest of snoqualmie falls. It’s good to reserve a spot and request they seat you next to the window. Came here for brunch. I ordered the Dungeness Crab eggs Benedicts. You get 2, and that was plenty to get you full. Hollandaise sauce, poach eggs were done perfectly. Eggs were sitting on a bed of crab meat, and there was alot of crab meat too. All were on top of an english muffin. I had hash potatoes as my side. Ask for Tabasco sauce, they give you these miniature size bottle. My GF had the Wild Washington King Salmon, I didnt get to try it much cause I was too busy enjoying my Crab eggs Benedict. She said her’s was really good too. Dont forget to go for a hike down to the bottom of the waterfall after you’re done eating to burn off the Calories, you might as well since you’re there.

Wonderful views, good service, and above average food gets the Salish 4 stars. I tried it during Seattle restaurant week so I ordered from a pre-selected menu with limited choices. I loved my asparagus soup, it was seasoned just right, and really well done. The steelhead trout entrée was just ok — although the greens on the plate were nicely done the main star of the dish — the fish was just ok. The lemon tart dessert was good but nothing to write home about — the lemon filling was good with a sour tang, the crust a trifle too hard and the embellishments too chewy. Overall a nice experience. We had a larger table so could not get window seating with the best views. Eating dinner here is worth it just for the beautiful views of the falls and the sunset on a non-rainy day. It’s a perfect spot for a romantic date. A dinner with a glass of wine for 2 and shared dessert will run you around $ 125 – 150 including tax and tip, perfect for a special occasion. Make reservations and ask for a table next to the windows.
