YMCA of Greater Seattle – Snoqualmie

Big thumbs down for the birthday service here. The coordinator booked over my nephews birthday reservation 2 days before his 11^th birthday party that was scheduled a week in advance. Very shocking and disappointing. I will not be using this location again.

I LOVE this YMCA! Our family joined about 5 years ago and we couldn’t feel more fortunate to have such an amazing facility right in our back yard. Each staff member truly cares for the members as well as the community in the valley; and we’ve felt this from day one. We have 2 kids (ages 3 and 5) and they get just as much out of the Y, if not more than my husband and I do. They love coming to the Y! They are cared for and actually engaged with while in the kids Zone! As a busy SAHM, this place is a lifesaver. Over the few years that we’ve been members and active with the Y, I’ve been able to reach fitness goals that I didn’t think were possible for myself. This is in part, due to the instructors, members and general encouragement I’ve received as a member of the Snoqualmie YMCA. While we would LOVE it if there was a pool, I think this will come in time. I couldn’t see our family joining a different gym/​club. I have and will continue to refer ALL of my friends and family to join because it really is a great place to be.

We’ve been members since it opened and although don’t use the children’s services have found it has met all our fitness needs. We love the staff, they are always interested in what we want as members. I’ve taken most the classes and even if they don’t all appeal to me, wouldn’t expect them to. We all have different fitness needs and I like that for a small facility they try hard to meet them. I’m sure that more space would be welcomed but until then, keep doing what you do!
