My favorite meals are the fried shrimp and the grilled chicken. The view of the lake is very nice from almost any table. If you’re not a fan of karaōke, I’d advise not going there on the nights they have it due to it being very loud and very bad.

A quiet Thursday night and a HUGE disappointment. Service was lacking, The raw oysters were inedible and the fish sandwiches just ok. No one trying to do great things here! BORING! The owner walks around, never saying hello to his customers or even acting as if he cares! He should be ashamed of himself!

Stay away from this place during any kind of rush unless you want to wait almost 3 hours for food.

We love coming here, we’ve traveled by car and also by boat to eat at Aris. The oysters are always sweet, the blackened grouper melts in your mouth, the chicken salad is amazing and the beer battered onion rings rock. We always sit in the back where its cooler inside and the waitresses serving us always have a smile and treat us like Kings and Queens. We look forward to coming back very soon. Also, the views, BEAUTIFUL!

Went last evening, server was as good as she could be. However, as usual the service from the bar and kitchen was –5. 30 min to get a beer and 45– 1 hour to get food. Food was good but with the wait and lack of air conditioning will probably not return. Ari has been in the restaurant business long enough for this not to happen.

Horrible service. Food is OK but not worth the price. Would not recommend to anyone especially since the owner isn’t too worried about customers satisfaction… Says a lot

After reading the reviews decided to go anyway to try it. Sat night, late October so not very crowded. Sat outside for the view. Food was very, very good, wife had the pork tenderloin and I had Tilapia. Service was also very good. No complaints and we would definitely go back. Based upon other reviews not sure what a repeat will find but until they do a poor job will return.

Disappointing. The oysters on ½ shell had been sitting in cold fresh water and were without flavor. While the jumbo fried shrimp were good everything else was just ok. Server was good but it was Tues. night and only about 10 people were there. Décor is lack luster but the view of the river was nice.

Is it possible to give zero stars? Can’t comment on the food, never got that far. We got seated pretty quick. Then we waited 5 – 10 minutes for menus(that we had to ask the manager for). After 15 more minutes of numerous waitresses passing by, we still had no one say hi or take a order. We got up and left, I’m guessing they didn’t know we left either.

Food was amazing! Even though they were very busy the waitresses were on top of everything providing fast and friendly service. The view is beautiful even on an overcast day.

Ok, this is not the most romantic place you are ever going to eat at in your life. But the view is one of the best around anywhere and the buffalo shrimp is incredible! Plus there are not many places on Chickamauga Lake you can get to by boat to pick up dinner for a sunset cruise. Don’t get much better than that!

I’m giving them one star simply because I can’t find a way to give them no stars. We went with a large party of about twenty at our table and another table of ten. At the same time we arrived two more decent size partys arrived. Anytime you have a large seating you expect service to be a bit slow just from the overwhelming nature of the large group but… As we were trying to place drink orders a second waitress came to help but was immediately told to go away by our waitress, who turned out to be the owners wife, because she didn’t want to split the tip with her. She screamed this at the poor girl loud enough for half the restaurant to hear her. I guess turning away help wouldn’t have been a bad idea if she could have handled the group but she would have been hard pressed to handle a four top. Everyone around us had their salads before our drinks even came out. I won’t bore you with the gory details but things didn’t get much better in the next two hours… The only saving grace was a nice young lady who came over at the end and rescued us. It was her first night there and she told us they couldn’t figure out how to put her in the computer so she wasn’t even getting paid but she busted her butt and ran circles around the owners wife. When it was time for checks our saving grace tried to help pass out the checks but got screamed and cussed by the owners wife. Honestly I don’t know why she didn’t just walk out right there… I wouldn’t talk to my dog like that, much less another person. Unfortunately owners wife wasn’t any friendlier with the customers than she was with the staff. The food was edible but nothing special. My check was $ 24 for a piece of blackened grouper, baked potato and diet coke. The grouper was previously frozen and the potato wasn’t quite done. You have to tear open the packets of butter for the bread if you want butter in your potato. The restaurant itself is quite nice with a beautiful view and lots of patio seating. I would never go back here simply because of the horrible attitudes displayed by the owners.

Good, solid lake food with a courtesy dock. I had the fried grouper which was fantastic — light and crispy. My wife had the nachos — bland and soggy. Service was friendly and efficient.

Very little recent info on this place, and not so good ‘older’ info. Still, we’d long wanted to try it and are glad we did. Place was pretty busy on Memorial Day, with many diners outside on the deck overlooking the water. Service by Stepanhie was prompt, freindly, effiecient, even though she was busy. The grouper finger appetizer was served hot and fresh. Salad that came with dinner was large and ‘ok’. The dinner rolls were AWESOME; also served piping hot fresh from the over. For dinner, we had the fried catfish and the blackened catfish; both served fresh and hot and both very good. We’ll be back, for sure.

Nachos were crisp, fresh used fresh grated cheese fresh tomato Grouper fingers were crisp, good flaky fish, not greasy, good portions, no fishy taste I had the side of steamed vegies and they had a seasoning that was excellent. The Greek dressing was not Greek, just oil and vinegar. but the blue cheese tasted homemade. Also ask for the specials, 2 entrees for $ 19.95 Karaōke on Friday nite and we were amazed.
