A fun little shop and a great variety of cheese. The store is a little hard to navigate for people with disabilities. Absolutely crammed with interesting décor for sale! The staff is very friendly but not pushy. If you’ve never stopped by, you should.

IMPORTANT… PLEASENOTE the new phone number: 1−800−445−0269(This Country Store is still OPEN for business. We made a trip there to find out because the listed number had been disconnected.) Highly recommend calling ahead for store hours as they«change by the season.» We LOVE all of the Heluva Good Cheese – but, especially the XXX and the Special Reserve! As always, the Staff was very courteous and friendly. They provide ample samples to help you decide which cheese you really like! It’s worth the drive from VA to NY! Oh, did I mention that we visited relatives, too?

A pretty amazing selection of cheeses, as well as other food items. I sampled some aged sharp cheddars and they were delicious! A maple flavoured cheese was interesting, as well. Located right off of Route 104.

This little country store located across the street from the Helluva Good factory is a great hidden treasure. You walk in and find the expected country store feel. There is everything from locally made sauces, pickles, and fudge to the Helluva good cheese and dips. There were several kinds of crackers and wine biscuits that made me want to forget I’m gluten-free. The ladies were incredibly friendly and helpful. They know their products and you can tell they are fresh from right across the street. They are generous with samples which led me to trying German Butter cheese(melt in your mouth good!), Chocolate Fudge cheese(slightly less sweet than actual fudge and oh so good), and Blueberry Cheddar(perfect!). I wanted to buy one of everything and sit down with some crackers and potato chips and pig out. I was also impressed by the horseradish mustard — yum! If you’re in the area… which is really the middle of nowhere… you should stop and check it out! You’ll probably be the only customers in the store :)
