Such a beautiful gallery! We picked out two very large pieces and they went above and beyond with the transition and the loading. before we loaded them, they completely re finished both pieces making them look incredible! Thanks Jd

Beautiful, enchanting and mesmerizing gallery with a plethora of mediums and eras. I loved wandering through the basement«Indiana Jones room» with all the artifacts and wonderful wood smells. No pretension here. I love this place.

One of my favorite places to drop in to. Sort of like a museum. Great Asian furniture, wood sculptures and idylls. The people here can be very resourceful. We had been looking for a really strong table base for a rectangular slate table top for some time. If you have a similar project, speak to Rick Harper. Rick will guide you through the basement, showing all manner of table base options. Rick said some of the petrified wood slabs they sell are heavier than slate. One of the more interesting shops on Cedros, IMHO.

Amazing pieces. I could spend all day here just looking at the wood slabs.

Love this place, it’s like a museum dedicated to Bali and Indonesia but you can buy anything in the showroom. I also love the quarterly gallery opening parties… such a great team of people at DAC. Check them out!

If you’re passing by David Alan you’d assume it’s just another ritzy SoCal design store. No, no, no! It is so much more! David Alan is like Bombay Company — but the real deal. Genuine artifacts abound. I’m a bull-whip and fedora short of feeling like Indiana Jones in this maze of unique pieces. I felt like a child in that I wanted to touch EVERYTHING. Especially those giant wood slabs. Seriously — they’re absolutely gorgeous. Take a moment to explore the basement(location to the right of the main entrance). Thanks to Trish S. for pointing us in this direction. Without her advice, this would have been another overlooked gem.

Forget the museum! This is my favorite«gallery» with all of David Alan’s worldly collection. This warehouse has 3 levels of antique goodies from wherever this lucky man has travelled. There are so outstanding pieces like original samurai uniforms, petrified wood decoration balls to stools to tables(which I have been eyeing), precious rocks and jewelry, fossilized décor, etc etc. Don’t forget to check out the upstairs level and the basement. I love getting lost in here! The employees are very nice and informative. I recently bought a beautiful necklace and bead bracelet which 100% of the profits go to schools in Bali and India!!!

If I were in the market for a large stone buddah, an oversized chest from the Ming Dynasty, or an ancient mongolian tea table, I would shop here. But since I’m not, usually, their jewelry selection does it for me every time. Want an indonesian necklance, some beaded bangles? Then bypass their impressive wood collection in the front and head on back. And Ps, if you’re feeling real adventurous, be sure to check out the basement collection, because yea, if there’s one thing I like more than tea tables, it’s yelling at my boyfriend to COVERYOURHEART as I dig and hold up antique idols. Now where did I leave my shankara stones…

My Ma has booths in the Antiques Warehouse, so this is how I know Cedros(Oh, yeah, and I met my ex at Belly Up). First time I came here, I cried. No kidding!!! The wood is exquisite. I’m content with what I have and am very lucky, but what is displayed here makes me know what to answer when someone asks what I’d do if I won the Lotto!!!
