Elán Solana Pointe

I am resuming my original opinion of this place after living there for 2 ½ years. We had a brief respite from the deplorable conditions with a terrific onsite manager who was there for maybe 8 months. Before and after her departure it was utter despair. Common areas were atrocious, the units are old and falling apart. I had pipes burst in mine numerous times. The management doesn’t care about their tenants or their employees I discovered, The cheap rent for Solana Beach is not worth the regret and anguish you will experience in signing a lease with these people. Trust me you DON’T want to live here!

What a ghetto hellhole. This place houses all of the crime in Solana beach. If you wanna live like you’re in a bad part of TJ, then this place is for you.

This place is a dump and the management is horrible. I moved in and there was always this faint, dog smell. I went to clean the carpets myself and I don’t think they even vacuumed the place before I moved in. There was so much dog hair wrapped around the brush of my vacuum cleaner that it stopped working properly and the water was black after running the Bissel thru it. Gross. Your Ista bill runs 165 a month, so if you have 1 person in your apartment and your neighbor has 12 people living in it you will be paying for all of their showers and out of control water usage, whether you are there or not. The dumpster is full of built up trash, that all the neighborhood dumps in there, and the pool was green this summer for over a week. It’s definitely a dingy, dirty place to live. The rent is out of control high and the grounds are not maintained good. If you have a problem, good luck getting management to respond. They are not on the property and the new girl doesn’t seem to have a lot of brains or knowledge about much going on. Do yourself a favor and pass this one up, believe me… You will be glad you did. I wish I had a review to read that was honest and not management trying to be deceptive like the above review.
