My girlfriend surprised me with a romantic fireside dinner about 2 weeks ago and served pasta with the most simple and delicious sauce I had ever had. It was absolutely incredible. I have never been to Italy, so can’t really say with any authority if this is ‘authentic’, but I can guarantee you there is nothing like this in any Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. At first she tried to pull it off like she made it from scratch, but I called her out — her boss gave her a gift certificate and am glad he did cuz neither of us had ever heard of petes pasta. so after dinner I «googled» it. Expensive but worth every penny — have ordered twice since then anbd every time very unique and VERY good
