My son tore his ACL. I didn’t want to opt for surgery immediately so we chose physical therapy. My son wanted to go to another group, but I said let’s try Solana Beach Physical Therapy. It’s by the beach. He was reluctant and I promised him, he could switch after the first session. Location: Few blocks by the beach or by a strip mall. Location made it easy to drop off my son and either head to the beach or the mall. How perfect is that? Parking: Plenty of Parking Facilities: Clean, cute and comfortable. You felt at home. Services: Joanna is the BEST! She would train and teach my son about the injury, explain to him proper techniques for training, walking, sitting, and why it was important and the consequences of not following or maintaining proper method. Joanna was FANTASTIC. In addition, my son trusted her and they would have conversations about school, friends, football, family, etc. She became like an Aunt to him. Someone he trusted, someone who was a confidant. She not only helped physically get better, but she encouraged him to be better at school, to be a better person. The truth is Joanna was an angel during a time that we needed an angel! During the times that I would wait for my son in the foyer, I saw Joanna work with children from ages 5 to adults. There were a few times she would book my son at the same time with another child because she sensed there was a need of encouragement and that by having them work together, it helped each child to relate and be an encouragement to one another. It sounds weird but her therapy was not just physical, but truthfully, it was mental and emotional therapy as well. She truly cares for them, not as a number but as person needing healing. Pretty awesome if you ask me. .
