The Studio by Pink Lagoon

Went back and experience was much better. Still pricey but they have became one of my fav here!

Nice collection of designer items and even tho its pricey, its still pretty good consignment shop. I have to say tho, the owner is very nice and attentive, but one of the ladies working there (younger girl) need to tune her approach to customer. I may stop going altogether if I encounter her again. I hope someone from the Studio read this, and help to train the staffs better.
So the story goes — I walked in one time over the weekend dress like a hobo — Well, not really. I just dress for comfort. This new salesgirl’ first reaction was «Not sure you have been here before, this is a high end consignment shop» with bit of attitude. Then she walked upstairs after I told her I shopped there before.
Errr… OK. Do I look blind or do I look like I cant afford even looking at your stuffs? What kind of reaction do you expect after saying that to a customer? I mean… do you say that to a new Freshman in college «This is a high end education facility»!? Or better yet, «Hi welcome to Porche dealership. In case you dont know, we are high-​end»?
Its bloody obvious that its high end designer stop. If you think I cant afford it, well customer has a tendency to walk out when its too pricey or just not somethig they like. No instruction needed… No one needs a bloody announcement. Not to mention she just walked upstairs w/​o saying «call me if you need anything» of sort. I was left downstair for a while, even tho I actually wanted to buy something that day, I walked out and shop from another consignment shop in the area, with much better customer service.
Hey snobby lady — people don’t dress up to go shopping … you just lost a deal that day.

I’ve been shopping, and consigning, at The Studio for quite a while now and have had nothing but great experiences! Melissa and the other stylists are very helpful and professional. They’ve exposed me to great up-​and-​coming lines like R 13 and Lauren Decade that I am now hooked on. The clothing and accessories are displayed so beautifully that it’s impossible to not want to buy them! I highly recommend The Studio.
