Although I have never had him do my locks, I love the space and what really nice guy. His salon is adorable. Love the gold frames, old pics and cool art. He seems to have a great following and who knows, I may just have to give him a shot. Being a Stylist myself, my GF has cut me for almost nothing all these years so it’s hard to beat that.

Travis has been cutting my hair for over 15 years. He always asks how my last cut was and if I want to make any changes. I can tell that he is a master at his craft and his technique is very refined. Conversation is always great and I enjoy the atmosphere. His booking process is easy and I make 4 – 5 appointments at a time. Make sure you give him a try.

Travis is great. best hair cuts I have ever had… he will talk trends walk through recommendations. The catch is is a bit expensive, but worth every penny.

One of the surest ways to master a craft is through practice, and travis has over 20 years of experience in creating art. However practice has its limits where you can only get «so good». In order to achieve greatness however, you need talent. You need to be born with something special that others, no matter how much they practice their craft, will never particularly have.
I recommend anyone and everyone to visit Travis and his wonderful assistant Hailey. Even if you are currently going to another stylist, It’s like comparing a child imitating its parent; the child can go through the motions, but it does not understand the meaning. Travis is one of the very few artist’s that understands and puts a directed purpose behind each brush of the comb and snip of the scissor.

If you are looking the for best… I mean the very best service and quality, you would be here. Travis is more then professional to every client. You feel like you are getting personalizd service… becuase you are. His staff will make you feel at home. The office is very comfortable and feels like a home. There is no busy rush of people, no loud noises, no strong chemical smells. Just a peaceful environment and very relaxing.
I have not done anything more then a haircut and style, but I have taken female friends here after their own regular people can’t «cut it» anymore. He fixes other peoples mistakes and makes it 10x’s better then even what you expected. Now my friends are his clients. Not a lot of stylists tell you to get and do things just to sell their products in their stores. You will only get advice from Travis about what you actually need. I’ve never met anyone that knows more about the science of hair treatment.
He is on the cutting edge of style. I see people sporting the styles that he created for me years ago. He can create the perfect style for the look you want and the look you can actually pull off and look good with. I don’t even tell him what to do, he is the artist, I just let him work and make me look awesome.

I went to Travis as a last resort to fix my last two years of bad hair cuts. He spent time looking over my examples and comparing my face shape with what would work. It was amazing to actually have someone take that time with me.
Not only did I have fun for the first time in a salon chair, I walked away friggin happy with my hair. This is the second week with the cut and I still love it! This is the first time I didn’t wish my hair was just long again. This was way worth the cost and I will recommend Travis over and over again!

Travis Parker is amazing and so is his team. Travis really has given me the best cuts and hair color I ever had and I only will go to him. I have been going to Trav for almost a year now. He really is intuitive for what looks great on each person and his artistry eye is spot on. He has also dyed my hair with a very specific color combo of a brown which I love. I have had to change the date of my appointments on several occasions and they always are willing to work with me to figure out a time even though his schedule is booked months well in advance. His team is very kind and welcoming and offer coffee, tea and espresso exactly how you like. This place is just perfect all the way around without being pretentious. You don’t realize how much you are missing out on until you go. Do yourself a favor and go!

I’ve just left Travis Parker’s new place and I implore you to go check it out! Travis and his staff deliver a timeless comfortable luxury that is deserving of a 6^th star up there. I was poured a great hot tea when i got there, and felt like i was welcomed into the space like a relative coming to visit.
After working alongside the hair Industry for a few years I’ve had the opportunity to get hair cuts from some skilled stylists, but no one comes close to Travis Parker’s craft and attention to detail. wether I’m feeling committed to a look and i walk in with instructions, or I just feel like having him give me something «new» I’m walking out impressed, and feeling good about how i look.
I think the new space fits perfectly in the ingenious and artistic of Solana Beach’s South Cedros.

Travis is easily the best stylist I’ve ever had. Stellar men’s cut, extreme focus on what will look good on each client, and an unending drive to make the experience in his new location as killer as possible for each client.
If that doesn’t sum up how I feel about his salon– as much as I like Salon Do in Bloomington, IN where I live, I moved part of my travel back to San Diego around so I could fit in to his schedule.
Certainly not a cheap place to get your hair cut, but well worth the money for the experience.
