If you ever listened to Johhny Cash, then you know difference between hearing a story and being transported inside its essence. The expression of an idea through authentic experience yields grit. Kirk exudes the type of grit where talent is secondary to the character expressing it. His innate talent and technical skills indeed present, but lots of people have talent whereas few are true artists.
For me, visits to Kirk’s gallery inspire melancholy celebration. It evokes empathy for what life is like without compromise and celebrates the places where we go all the way.
Kirk’s DNA simply leaves no room for safety nets or salesmanship. He creates because the creations need to come out. And what comes out is often magical.
I obviously enjoy his art, but also trust his blank canvas enough to serve as thank you gifts for my most valued clientele. It is worth noting too, that his pieces range dramatically from low to high cost, depending upon materials, time, and x-​factor. Some of the coolest pieces are more affordable than you might think, while his more expensive ones are simply worth it, if not for their undervalued potential for appreciation, then for the deep satisfaction of their emotional dividends.
