Ordered a Wor Wonton soup. Waste of my money. First the vegetables had black spot from them going bad. Had too many vegetables and only 4 wontons. So disappointed I never thought that a wonton soup could be so flavorless and I not like it. Well this one did. Didn’t order from their lunch since it looks way to greasy. Don’t bother getting food unless you want food that is greasy and flavor less.

Horrible food. Probably days old. owner is completely disinterested in attending the customers. Couldnr eat the oily food… all 4 members ended up throwing the food and moved to adjacent subway. Stay away…

For a price this low, I should say the taste is pretty good. The quality of the food together with its taste is better than most 1-$ sign fast-food Chinese restaurant. we were on our way to a long hike in pinnacle national Park and were just looking for a quick lunch to fill our personal tank. I should say I’m pleasantly surprised by this small restaurant.

Food fit for prison or labor camp workers! It makes sense since Soledad State prison is an exit away, perhaps the cook plied their skills at Soledad or in a Chinese prison. I ordered off the menu — bean curd tofu, so that it was fresh cooked. Boy, was I wrong. Advice to owner-go copy panda or hire a REAL cook.

Really good food for a typical fast food place. They even stayed open for me when they were ready to close recently. Better than other fast food Chinese I’ve had elsewhere.

Good service and cheap with lots of food lunch special buffet but very greasy, bland no taste. I added soy sauce but still I found it hard to eat. Had the chow mein, orange chicken and spicy chicken. Charged $ 2 for water!

Shocked that there are any good reviews for this place. For me this is the worst Chinese food ever! Next to the one in King City by Wells Fargo & Daniels Hair Salon, it’s a toss up whose worse. Maybe because City Café in King City has me spoiled with their DELICIOUSFRESH food I can’t stomach these Panda Express wannabes. Ugh

This place is horrible I’ll keep it short and straight to the point, I was here for takeout and the guy serving the food turned around and blew his boogers straight to the floor and kept serving as soon as he did that I left and didn’t get anything. Plus the food is gross. I usually don’t give bad reviews but I will for this place

Was driving back from LA and swung by a shopping center for a bite to eat. Was pleasantly surprised by this place. In typical Chinese business fashion the owner was a little standoffish upon ordering but she warmed up to us and her kids helped bring our food to the table. The family seemed great and the food was decent.

food is suprisingly good. we had a meal combo where we choose 3 meals on our plate for 6 – 7 bucks. the shrimp are pretty supple and not too salty. the restaurant didnt look too promising from the outside as well as in. but dont be fooled by the looks. they dont serve tap water though.

So driving up the 101, we were looking for a place to stop and grab a bite. We were tired of eating your regular chain fast food joints so we ended up stopping at this strip mall off the freeway in the city of Soledad. To be honest I wish we had chosen to go to a fast food place instead of here. The food wasn’t bad but it also was not good. I ordered the 4 item combo and chose the following items: Fried Rice, Orange Chicken, Chicken Broccoli and Butter Shrimp. In a nutshell all of it was very bland and mediocre compared to other Chinese Restaurants I’ve been to. The Fried Rice was pretty much tasteless, and quite honestly I could not really tell the difference between the flavors of the Orange Chicken and the Chicken Broccoli, but it didn’t help that they slop all these items all next to each other so all the tastes blend in. The Butter Shrimp was basically battered shrimp that’s fried but I could not tell where the«butter» came from. Overall the taste of the food was just Ok and I’m guessing that this is the only Chinese(or Asian for that matter) restaurant in Soledad so to the residents there this might be a place thats considered good. But me growing up in the bay area surrounded by many, many great Chinese Restaurants, this was just OK and bordering below average for me. What made me give this only one star though is the fact that the lady serving us our food looked mad and seemed annoyed to be serving us. Ever hear the term«service with a smile?» Well this person did not do that and made us feel very uncomfortable being there. Overall if you’re in the area and looking for somewhere tasty to eat… this is not it.

I was travelling up the 101 and on the lookout for a non-chain restaurant to catch my eye. Somehow I would up in a strip mall alongside the freeway. This didn’t seem like a promising option, but I was running out of daylight and had to grab a quick bite. At first, this place seems like any other nondescript, strip mall, steam table Chinese restaurant. But halfway through my three-item combo, it dawned on me — this stuff is really tasty. Sometimes you luck out.
