Not your typical restaurant. A truly Mexican food eatery in a local Mexican market. The food is soo authentic that we always stop on our way home from San luis obispo! Great food, big plates and homemade tortillas!!!

The best carnitas you will ever eat! In a burrito or taco or sope whatever you choose to put that delectable meat in. My friends love it!!! 2 of the girlfriends of mine love the lengua (tongue) tacos, not my thing but they just would die rolling their eyes behind their head every time they ate there. Oh my god, the ribs are amazing, the carne asada is awesome. We live down the street & it’s every bit of restraint it to go there everyday! We treat ourselves about 1x a month. Great customer service. Been eating there since it was Pachecos but the name change & new owners has not changed the taste. Worth every penny!!! TRY THE CARNITAS!!!

This Mexican deli /​Carnicería, formerly Pacheco’s, served up yummy traditional Mexican platillos with hand made corn tortillas. There is always is a bubbling pot of menudo, chicharrones, and chile colorado. Worth a stop on your way south.
