I received superb service recently when I went there to return a purchase and to also make another purchase.

This place is a gem; best customer service I have ever encountered. Went there for a phone upgrade this past weekend. The gentlemen working there were highly qualified, kind, and took care of us quickly and efficiently. And as I looked around the store, I found that the prices are exactly the same (or even less) as places like Best Buy. Why go to a giant store with impersonal service when you can go to Radio Shack and have the real professionals help you out? Thanks, guys!

A Radio Shack is a Radio Shack, right?
Wrong. The guys at the Solon store were above and beyond standard customer service.
They were slammed when I came in to upgrade my phone, and though I had to wait, they all made sure that I knew that I hadn’t been forgotten. When we were activating my new phone and finishing the upgrade, they were knowledgeable, helpful, efficient, and friendly. It was everything you could want from a trip to a busy radio shack on a Thursday night. But here’s where it gets great.
My data took forever to transfer from one phone to the other, keeping me in the store past closing time. At no point did I feel rushed, or blamed for having a lot of data. At no point was anyone anything less than friendly to me. One of them (Earl) even stood and talked with me while I waited for my data to finish, and when everyone had finished up their closing duties, they all hung out with me and waited for my data to finish. I was so embarrassed for it to be taking so long, and felt so bad that they were still there, but they were friendly as ever.
During my couple hours there I never saw any one of them be anything less than super friendly with any customer, and they did such a good job of getting through a big back up without letting anyone there feel neglected. It’s not even all that close to where I live, but I plan on going back.
