Walgreens

Have had three bad experiences here:
I transferred a prescription here from another Walgreen’s. Apparently this doesn’t transfer your insurance info. But after an hour on the phone with the other Walgreen’s they managed to figure it out.
On another occasion, they had no record of my refill request. The pharmacist asked what I wanted to refill and announced the drug by name so loudly all the other people in line could hear it.
I guess everyone here is on some medication, right, but this lack of concern for privacy is pretty irritiating. Other people do not need to know what medicine I’m taking (and I’d rather not know what they are getting.)
Third time, they switched the name brand for the generic without asking. I didn’t notice until after I already went home, and they were closed, so I had to make a trip back the next day. I know some people think it doesn’t matter, but it’s pretty sneaky to just switch the medication without even asking the customer.
Otherwise this is a nice, clean store, conveniently located and it’s open 24 hours for everything (except the pharmacy). It’s overprices compared to Giant Eagle or Wal-​Mart but the hours and location make up for it.
