They will charge you 18% gratuity on your bill when you look so CHINESE. Warming all tourists who wanna try this restaurant out. DONOTGIVEONECHANCE, or you will regret what did you choose. Food no taste at all. We tried three dishes that makes me feel awful. I was wondering how they can make all of dishes in great failure. The hot and sour soup was the worst soup I never had before.

Lame Chinese food is stereo typical as it gets eat at your own risk. Panda Express serves a better orange peel chicken. Just a very poor representation.

Very Friendly. Good Chinese food. Wide selection. We had Mongolian Beef and Sesame Beef, rice and Egg Rolls. All were good. I see negative reviews here but we didn’t experience anything negative. It was crowded, 6pm, and service was fine. We will be back on our next visit to Solvang.

Priced great, great lunch portions and overall a nice lunch. Clearly not cooked to order, but the food came out quick and fresh. Service was great. Would come back again.

Just about alright. Way too much soy sauce in everything. We had sweet and sour prawns, Szechuan prawn and Szechuan chicken. It was just ok.

I don’t like to leave negative reviews, but I felt that people should be warned. We took our order to go so we could enjoy our dinner in the comfort of our hotel room. The staff were very friendly and the host gave us complimentary tea while we waited. We didn’t have to wait long, which was nice(Monday night) but the disappointment came when I opened my to-go box. I had gotten the Sesame Chicken and it was all SKIN. I could not believe I paid $ 14.99 for cold, gelatinous, chicken SKIN! I have never been to a Chinese restaurant in America that served Sesame Chicken with no actual meat. It was disgusting and I was reduced to eating white rice for dinner. Two stars because my husband did enjoy his Pork Chow Mien.

Everything pretty much closed after 6PM(even on a Saturday night) in Solvang so our dining options were very limited. Wonderful customer service here, clean and very attentive. The entrees are a modest size serving and a familiar hint of tasty Chinese flavors, but not as flavorful as I am accostomed to for a Chinese menu. If you enjoy a pleasant dining experience and craving Chinese, this restaurant will satisfy your cravings. Tried their beef pan friend noodle, walnut shrimp, and sizzling rice soup. If you want shrimp in your sizzling rice soup, request the shrimp one. Didn’t realize that until later. Overall, just content with each item and we had leftovers of the walnut shrimp.

Sorry to leave a negative review but this place is pretty lame. First of all the communication was horrible. A man approached our table, and I thought he was our server, so I proceeded to ask him about the drinks. He couldn’t tell me very much other then the fact that he thought that Patron tequila is too expensive. The margarita he brought me wasn’t bad. I’ve had much worse. When our waitress came over she was pleasant. I asked her if it was possible to have any other soup in a cup besides pork wonton. First she said no but then she mentioned the veggie version of hot and sour soup. So I asked if I could get a cup I thought she said yes. My boyfriend and I got some veggie egg rolls and veggie fried rice so I definitely wouldn’t have ordered a giant vat of soup. My boyfriend got cheese wontons(he actually really liked those. I liked the egg rolls too except for the oil that dripped out with nearly every bite. So… going back to the soup it was pretty bad. There was so much and it came with a giant ladle. When we got the veggie fried rice I had to ask for a box twice. At that point we were full from our appetizers. And I was just planning to leave the soup. Then the owner or manager appeared out of no where and asked how things were, but almost immediately started telling us they don’t sell cups of soup. I’m like yeah«I guess I found that out the hard way.» I could tell he was trying to justify not taking it off the bill. That’s all fine. When I go out to eat, even if I don’t like something I never try to get it taken off the bill. I guess it would have been nice if they were a little more apologetic instead of being confrontational.

Went today with my family, food was nothing special, but what made it worst is the hot sauce they offered us, disgustingly salty. Totally messed up our food. We complaint to our server and she admitted that they’ve gotten many complaints about but yet STILLOFFERIT. I WOULDN’T RECOMMENDTHISPLACE.

I would not recommend this place at all. Food is just so so and most terrible things are Asian waitress’s attitude. As we started to make order, she tried to hurry us up and explained that people she served before always very hurry in dining. I don’t know what kind of people she thought we are. As she passed bill to me, she told me she had added an amount of tip into the bill. It’s the first time I saw a restaurant would do their business so rudely. I paid because my parents were with me and I didn’t want them feel awkward. I wrote this for letting every traveller in Solvang notice there are many other great restaurant here.

My family and I were craving Asian cuisine during our trip to Solvang. Surprisingly we discovered I believe the only Asian restaurant in Solvang. From the outside, the place looks really small. Turns out to be a very big place. I went there for dinner and it was really packed. Walkways and table seating are a little tight. Be careful because you might hit your neighbor. Wait for the food and water took awhile. My water drink refill never came so I tried to conserve as I can. The food was mediocre. I don’t know how else to explain it but it was okay. It was a little pricey than other Chinese restaurants I’ve eaten it but hey, I guess it’s fair since it’s practically the only Chinese restaurant in the area. It was a full house, so I think that could’ve been the reason why the food and service was below average. Good luck if you decide to go. Maybe you’ll have a better experience than I did.

I went in and was seated at 2:45pm. Their lunch menu ends at 3:00pm. Being cautious, I asked my server if it was still lunch while pointing to the menu. He said«Umm, no were not doing that today.» I showed him where it said DAILY lunch specials on the menu. He asked another server and she said«It isn’t busy enough for us to offer lunch prices today.» Then she flipped my menu over to the dinner section. I said thank you and walked out. Most likely because I was a party of one they felt they weren’t going to make enough money from me. I’m sorry, I won’t be bullied into dinner prices, especially when your own menu says DAILY lunch specials.

This place is a little pricey for the quality of food-but it is still tasty nonetheless. My glass of wine was about eight dollars and we had the orange chicken and chicken chop Suey with soup. Hot and sour soup-D licious. Orange chicken-a little overcooked with a pretty small portion of rice. It was a nice place to stop and enjoy the ambiance. Not the greatest but not the worst.

Stiff drinks and yummy egg drop soup. I come here for a night cap because it’s one of the few places in Solvang open late. Haven’t tried any other food except for the soup but if you are looking for a full bar open late, this is your spot.

We were looking for a place to grab a drink and have a late night meal and of course everything in Solvang closes early. A friend recommended this spot and it turned out to be a great night. First off the restaurant serves food until midnight so if you need some tasty chinese food as a late night snack, this is the place to visit. They also have a bar that serves booze until 130 am. We just had drinks, but our friend ordered chicken chow mein and it looked and tasted great. It was cooked fresh to order and the portion was quiet large, I am sure you could share with someone. The drinks that we ordered were poured well and the bartender lady was super friendly. Even when she was busy, she made time to come check on our table and make sure we were good on drinks and food. We also enjoyed the music selection and free roasted peanuts. I can’t wait to go back on our next visit.
