There are some public restrooms in Solvang that are some of the finest on the west coast. Now you may argue with me, because I have not tried all the public comodes in every abode, but these are spectacular. On Alisal street in the Danish town of Solvang, in a public parking lot, stands 2 public restroom buildings. There is one that is smaller and older, then there is the new one, larger. Every dread walking into a public restroom, for fear of the nightmare you may have to deal with inside? Passed by many a public toilet in search of something more hospitable? Search no more while in Solvang! You walk into this restroom, and it is brightly lit with recessed lighting cones and flourescent ceiling fixtures with tasteful silver lattice work that would put many a high end restaurant to shame! The urinals are full length, sofly curved porcelain beauties that would put many a Danish Modern furniture store seeking a better design from Kohler. And all of the sink features are high tech no-touch actuated, soap and water, and sanitary air drying. Most fixtures are European made, stylish and high quality. This place is cleaner than many noodle restaurants I have eaten in! When you see nice public facilities, which is unusual, you have do more than defecate or urinate in them, you have to coronate them as the best around!
