the town of somerset lacks any real identity when it comes to local business. most restaurants are corporate-​owned or chain/​fast food restaurants.
beandogs is a locally-​owned bar/​restaurant that does manage to capture some of the identity of somerset. they have a decent selection of beers on tap and a better selection in the fridge (craft beer). if you enjoy sports, this is the place for you.
the atmosphere of this bar is the most appealing aspect. it’s tighter quarters within which forces conversation, but this isn’t a bad thing, coming from an introvert.
prices are modest and the food is great (hot dogs and fish sandwiches are highly recommended).

We love Bean Dogs. It has the best burgers and hot dogs in town. The black and bleu burger is juicy and yummy. The Italian dog and the fries are fresh and good too.

Loved the HUGE fish sandwich. Gigantic, hot, and the best in town. Comes with plenty of tartar sauce, and hot, crispy fries. The burgers are great too!
