I have been getting delivery from China Moon for nearly a decade, at both work home, and they are by far the most consistent chinese takeout place in the area. They deliver late at night and the delivery guy actually delivered to my house during Hurricane Sandy on his way home late that night (close to midnight). When I call or walk in they know exactly who I am (although they know me by my street address) and I have never been refused a delivery.
There are different style chinese places in the area that may suit people’s tastes more and may be better/​different than China Moon but if I order from them I know exactly what I am getting.
P. S. they have the best boneless ribs in town, they cook them in a broiler/​salamander and they have great flavor, tender, and have just the right char on them.

We ordered from China Moon for the first time a few weeks ago & it was great. We thought we found the best Chinese in Somerset. Our order the other night was a completely different story. My wife, my son, and myself all had chicken dishes and we all ended up with food poisoning. So disappointed.

Good chinese. Sometimes you’ll get a «bad batch» but for the most part it’s pretty damn good. The vegetable soup is fantastic, it’s not like veggies in hot salt water like most chinese places. Good stuff and pretty quick delivery. $ 25+ and you get a free 2 liter of soda. NICE.

Pretty good food, in the Somerset/​Brunswick area. They have great lunch specials on weekend which is rare for americanized Chinese restaurants. Pretty friendly staff. I would recommend it to anyone in the area looking for something quick and painless.

China Moon is my favorite local ‘American’ Chinese place. The quality is actually really good– always fresh and plentiful meats and veggies. In particular, the chicken and broccoli is always delicious. Tender, large pieces of chicken and fresh, well-​sauced broccoli.
They also excel at order accuracy– I routinely order for 15+ people and our meals are typically perfect, even when I’m specifying white rice/​plain fried rice/​pork fried rice and wonton soup/​egg roll/​hot and sour soup options for each of our combinations.
Great local spot for take-​out or delivery.

this place is our go-​too chinese place. their food is good. their food is cheap. they are fast. lots of options.
on an interesting note. they are closely related to a nearby gourmet chinese place, Seafood Empire, another favorite of ours — if i’m not mistaken, the guy that owns China moon is the brother of the woman that owns Seafood Empire (i’ve seen and recognized her at both locations). tell either that Rolland says hi. =)
