I’ve been here a handful of times and up until today, it was a very pleasant experience. On previous visits, the staff were very attentive, organized, and prompt. Lee, the veteran bartender, is very professional and exhibits proper bartender etiquette. The servers/waiters were very courteous and brought orders out quickly. During today’s visit, I observed that the place is under new management. The bar itself hasn’t changed, Lee is still doing what he does regularly. However, the service of the table sitting portion was out of control. Waiters are cross-serving tables, leading to massive confusion and delays in orders being put in and food being brought out. There was a very visible change and to say the least, its not good. The staff and managers are obviously not communicating properly and causing hardships for each other. Some of the new staff had difficulty operating the point of sale systems that have been in place since I’ve been going there. I observed some tables receiving their orders before some that had ordered before them. Having managed a lounge/restaurant/hookah bar myself, I see that there is a large issue with management. It looks like their old system of operation was flipped on it’s head. I don’t know what’s happened here, but things should go back to the way they were, or better.

Quiet place where it’s easy to strike up a conversation at the bar. Decent burger at a good price.

I had lunch here while attending a seminar at the hotel. Nothing noteworthy or special about this restaurant/bar other than the connivence it provides if you’re staying at the hotel. Otherwise I don’t see any reason to go out of your way to come here.
