The food was nothing great. Most of it was over cooked and rubbery. The sushi was horrible. Our waitress had an attitude problem and received no tips. My soda was gross too. Never going back ever again. Back to Umi we go!

Changed ownership and name around Sept-Oct 2012. Renovated and much cleaner than prior owners. Stayed as last customer to near closing one night and kitchen and backroom staff were sitting out at one of the out of the way tables. Looked like a content group you wouldn’t mind preparing your food, a contrast to some of the other Asian restaurants, especially buffets, I’ve been to(usually only once).

Trash food. Just trash. Nothing good to say.

New York Chinese Buffet is one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. I cannot express how strong my lack of desire to ever eat food from this dive ever again is. I was dragged here by friends looking to get cheap grub before a movie and it wasn’t worth a single cent we spent. The food tasted freezer burnt(especially the crab ragoon purses) and the meaty dishes(like General Tso’s chicken) were rubbery and over-cooked. To add injury to insult, I got food poisoning after eating here and was sick for the rest of the evening. Never again.

It is very average. Nothing stands out. While it isn’t especially good … it isn’t bad either. There is a fairly large selection of dishes and if you want to stuff your face you can easily do it here. I had a $ 1 off lunch coupon(which I gave back in the tip) that got me in. I might go back but wouldn’t be in any big rush to do so.

Food is okay nothing great here. I have has better elsewhere and would just say this place is okay if your in the area and need variety just don’t expect greatness.
