I had a slider combo $ 10 for lunch at the Clover Market Chestnut Hill, within 30 minutes, diarrhea, stomach pain, have to go to nearest restroom, very disappointed.

After finally ordering the Chili this past week, I have officially tried everything on the menu of Oink and Moo and finally ready to write my review. Start off by saying, Oink and Moo is a very efficiently run food truck. Unlike many of the other food trucks at Pier13, you get your food fast. For that I give it 2 thumbs up! Another positive point, the tacos here are pretty awesome. I like that you can get a mix of pulled pork and chicken tacos… I almost feel like it’s a bad business decision that they do that because I definitely would just buy 2 orders to get a taste of both! But that’s good for the consumer. Ok — onto the bad. The food is majorly inconsistent. I probably eat at Pier 13 every night when the weather turns good(sad, i know, but I live across the street and don’t cook!) and Oink and Moo is my go-to when I see it since the service is fast. I have had wildly different experiences with this truck over the past year. Sometimes, it is the most delicious, generous, juicy food I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. Other times, the portions are miserly, too saucy, or too dry. You just never know what you’re going to get! The time that I ordered ribs, they were the most dried out ribs I’ve ever had. Then I hear from my friend that the ribs here are juicy and great. The point is… who knows what you’re going to get??? I don’t like to gamble on quality control with my dinner. I just wish they would stay awesome every night. When at their best, they are a 5 star food truck… just wish they’d always stay that way.

Food truck at the office today. Middle aged women willingly abandoned their salads this afternoon and they were not disappointed. Brisket sliders were wonderful. Tender, flavorful meat topped with crunchy coleslaw and tangy barbecue sauce. Washed it all down with a Stewarts root beer. Happy Friday!

As a Mexican from California, I know tacos and I love my food really spicy — like nose-running, tongue-burning spicy. These guys’ chicken tacos will blow you away. They DONOT disappoint. The perfect amount of heat on expertly cooked chicken topped with a delicious creamy sauce and smoky hot fresh chilies. What more could this CA-transplant girl want?!(Besides that succulent chicken wrapped in a burrito with lard-retried beans?!?) So glad I got to enjoy your fare at Taste of 3 Cities in DC. Bring a food truck down and stay for a while — please!

Went there for lunch today, placed order chicken buffalo tacos for $ 8.00, what a ripoff, 3 tiny pieces of chicken, I think the smallest hot pepper and a small squirt of something, I could roll it up of the size of a #2 pencil will not be going back to this truck!

Just had their pork and brisket chili at the Roxbury Food Truck Festival. Might be the best I ever had. They plop a nice little chunk of sweet cornbread in the middle that pairs well with the chili. Well spiced but not hot. I will follow them so I can get more of their menu.

the Chili and cornbread was quite tasty and meaty and enjoyable. The pork tacos were rather flavorless.

Just passed the truck across from RU hungry by Alexander and had to try it. I walked up to the truck and asked for the best thing they have. The guy said he really likes the chicken tacos. I was a bit disappointed because I was thinking pork, but ok, I asked and ordered the chicken tacos for $ 7. He asked if I wanted hot sauce and when I said yes, he offered to put it in a little plastic cup so I could use as much or as little as I wanted. I found a seat by the student center and chowed down Very delicious, fresh tacos that I would certainly order again, AFTER I go through the rest of the menu. The meat tasted very fresh, the jalapeños were just right. I preferred the bites with the drops of hot sauce, but could certainly be ok without them. The lime did not come through at all in the sauce even when I tasted it separately. However I liked the consistency and would have missed the creaminess and cooling factor. I think I’ll also ask for a bit more of it the next time. I could have certainly gone inside the student center and gotten more food for the price. This was just right for me. When I want a fat sandwich, that’s what I’ll get instead.

I was at Pier 13 in Hoboken with my Book Club. They usually have about 6 food trucks lined up outside with dinner options. After reviewing my choices, I opted to try Oink and Moo BBQ. I ordered the Pulled Pork Sliders. There menu does not tell you how many sliders are included in your order. Perhaps I should have asked, silly me. The order only comes with 2 sliders. The pulled pork was topped with their signature slaw and BBQ sauce. I really liked the flavor of the sliders, especially the BBQ sauce. But after eating the 2 sliders, I was still ravenous. To me, eating 2 sliders for $ 10 was a bit disappointing. Yeah, they tasted good, but $ 5 a slider is a bit steep and I was still really hungry afterwards. I was forced to go to another food truck to get more food to supplement my dinner. PS. I tried to «Check In» on Unilocal, but I don’t think Unilocal recognizes that the Food Truck is mobile and it was telling me that Somerset was too far when I was standing 1 foot in front of the truck.

Not crazy about it. The food is so-so and it’s kind of overpriced. The sliders are not very substantial and kind of a rip. The tacos are skimpy, don’t have much flavor, and are also overpriced. Overall the food has not been very satisfying, especially for the prices you are paying. Expect to be hungry when you are done. The one really good thing is that they carry an assortment of Stewart’s sodas… root beer, cream soda, etc. That’s something you don’t normally see at food trucks. I’ve been known to get food at another truck and then come to them for their soda. I’ve seen people get the ribs which looked pretty good, maybe I’ll give them a try next time.

Found a bone in my Pulled Pork Sandwich. Didn’t even get an I’m sorry. Instead I received. «That’s not good.» The worst customer service ever. Guess that’s why they have a truck and not a brick and mortar store.

I got to try this food truck at prestige mini event. I had the chicken tacos and my friend had the chili with corn bread. The tacos were very good you get three in the order it’s dark meat which I know some people like over white meat. I’m not one of those people. However I did enjoy them. The chili was also very hearty. A lot of meat and the spice and temperature was just right all the away til the end.

3 filing tacos for $ 9 ain’t a bad deal at all. I had been searching all over for this truck ever since someone created a Unilocal Business for them near my apartment and so to finally see them was a god send. I went with their pineapple and chicken tacos(3 for $ 9) which are very scrumptious, but lacked the saucy mess that you can enjoy from some fresh tacos. I wish I could eat more because I was curious to try their baby back ribs, but alas, I must search for them another time. Service was fairly quick, despite the large crowd that had lined up for them and the prices ranged from $ 7-$ 12. If you see them in your area, stop on by and check them out, they’ve got some interesting choices that won’t disappoint.

I recently saw the Oink and Moo truck guys and decided to give it a go again, ordering up a pulled pork taco. I gotta say, I wasn’t too happy this time around. The pork itself was a bit bland and over cooked again, but this time they were a bit weak on the sauce. I had to add quite a bit of hot sauce to finish it off. The guys(and girl) were really nice, but the food only eh this time around…

My friends and I were curious about the new truck parked next to Say Cheese on the Drexel campus and because Whirly Pig wasn’t in its usual spot this Thursday we decided to give Oink and Moo a try. Overall, this truck has good, solid food. I have minor complaints that, if addressed, would definitely warrant giving it another star. Firstly, the food is good, as I said. I got the Baby Back Ribs, which came with cornbread and cole slaw. The slaw had a little kick in it, which is always a good thing, but it was a little dry. The cornbread was dry, too. I’m used to moist cornbread. The ribs were very good. You get a big slab of pork. I got four bones in mine(not five as the server said), but that’s okay because these were pretty big ribs. The meat was tender, juicy, and yummy… but I wish they gave me a side of sauce so I could dip my ribs into it. The sauce was good. Real good. There just wasn’t enough of it! I also wish the ribs were cut. My friends liked their chili and pork sliders, but felt the prices were a little high.

Work got some food trucks to come celebrate our new building. We had a different one every Tuesday for a month, and this one was my favorite. I don’t know where they normally post up, but if you see them, check it out.

Saw this truck at a Ridgewood street fair and it seemed better/healthier than the typical street fair food. I ordered the barbecue brisket sliders(pulled meat), which is topped with bbq sauce and cole slaw. They also serve Lays-type chips on the side. It was damn yummy! It wasn’t superb, but for a food truck, I thought it was good. It was a bit pricey at $ 9 for 3 sliders, but I left full and satisfied.

I love Food Trucks and I love BBQ with that said I had very high hopes for this truck… I guess the best thing I can do is advise you to go to their web site
Are you there??? Good! Now, look at the pictures… see that amazing bark on that brisket? Looks delicious right? That’s the brisket they use for the sliders!!! Should be fantastic, right? Okay, now look at the picture I posted of the sliders… see the bark? Yeah, neither did I :-(Instead I got a few strips of brisket that was almost greyish in color and fairly fatty. The taste was okay but it was not what was advertised on their website. I also had the tacos(I posted a picture of those also). The pulled pork taco was fairly tasty, the portion was on point, and the pineapple salsa was very good. The chicken taco’s also had decent flavor but were very skimpy. In both instances here the meats were average, the website claims«Our meats are smoked low and slow over distinctive hickory, cherry and apple woods right on the truck in a Cookshack commercial-grade smoker» but I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that the chicken was nothing more than doctored chicken strips or the pulled pork came from a box at Costco. I have nothing to substantiate saying such things it’s simply how I thought they tasted. This is one of those instances where I wish Unilocal had a ½ star option because 2 ½ seems more appropriate. I do, however, want to give them a second chance and try their ribs but all and all my first experience was a let down. I went looking for good BBQ and this was vanilla…

Good chili, brisket sliders and pulled-pork tacos, if only you can find the truck! The meats are not adulterated much by sauces, salsas or other toppings, it’s almost a straight protein overdose. Nine bucks gets you three beef brisket sliders, which are potato rolls loaded with chunks of sliced brisket and a bit of mayo-like dressing, plus a big side of potato chips. Eight bucks for the pulled-pork tacos, a very generous helping of soft, deeply porky meat with just a hint of smoke, sprinkled with cabbage, wrapped in flour tortilla shells, plus a side of a delightfully spicy black bean, corn and tomato salad. Just six bucks for a big cup of chili that has brisket AND pork, but no beans at all. Vegetarians welcome despite the name — the quesadillas have beans, cheese and such. The Oink and Moo truck makes stops around the office parks of Basking Ridge, see their web site for the schedule. Mostly geared towards us office rats who will grab food and scurry back to our little desks. So don’t count on finding any tables and chairs anywhere nearby. Hey Unilocal, you need questions specific to food trucks. Good for groups? Well, yeah, the truck loves groups. Noise level? Well, uh, the parking lot is quiet today. Delivery? Yep they sure delivered lunch to me. And so on :)
