Sheetz… it’s the same everywhere you go. What I find interesting about Sheetz is that they have implemented a computerized inventory system that is directly tied to their café ordering system. So rather than talking to a person, you place your order with the little touch screens. You CAN talk with the person that is making your food, but you still have to order it on the screen. The food that is made on-site, while technologically a step-up, is the same food you would expect at any convenience store attached to a gas station. My hot dog was edible and my fried apples were lacking the sugar and cinnamon that was supposed to be on top and tasted like mini-McDonald’s apple pies. At least it is quick.
