There door and Unilocal say they open at 11:00AM and it’s 11:21 right now but they are closed. No weather issues in the area either. Wish I could go in and check it out but today’s my last day in Massachusetts.

For the square footage, this little gem has as much if not the most quality LP selection around. It’s small but jam packed with classics. Well organized, great selections for all genres, and focusing more on used vinyl with a few newer selections sprinkled in. Bob is very knowledgeable and keeps his prices low, with most albums being in the 3.99 to 9.99 range; unheard of and this is not junk vinyl. As an added bonus for your vinyl addiction, he offers a free album for every 3 purchased. Will be back again for sure.

I recently spent hours at Amoeba Records in Los Angeles, looking for specific albums on vynil because I had an opportunity to collect some hefty autographs while out there. While I love Amoeba, it runs out of so many things and rare items go so fast, it can be a disappointment. I casually stopped by Sunset Records as soon as I got back home to Rhode Island and found so many great, rare items, in great shape. The owner, Bob, is knowledgeable and passionate about music. This store is a hidden gem in New England and probably one of the rare, truly good record stores left in the United States. Worth the trip there. This store should have a cult following.

Have attempted three times to see what they have. All three times they have been closed. What time am I going? During their posed business hours. Oh well. Three strikes you are out. Oh and I have attempted to call them too. No one answers.
