I love locally owned small town stores. Especially ones that are manned by well knowledge employees. I was just walking around this town when I decided to see what was inside the one building. Upon entering I stumbled into here, a quaint little bookshop. It’s so odd to still be able to stumble into a place like this in a small town downtown area. It’s actually quite welcoming too. I wasn’t looking for anything in particular and started browsing. I was startled a bit when I heard the quiet voice ask me if I needed any help. I was startled because it came from the sweetest, little, old lady I have ever met. Did I mention she was little, she was in the store, but I wasn’t able to see her until she was near me. After I got my bearings again, I asked her if they had any good bedtime story books that a three year old would enjoy. You should have seen her go! She knew every single book that might fill this request. I ended up buying two that she suggested. I thank her for the help and I am quite sure that my niece is very, very happy. Hairy Maclary is now one of her favorite books before bed.
