Great food. Great customer service. Convenient Location. Try the breakfast sandwich. It’s a steal.

Best pepperoni pizza around. Would be five stars if you could order through grubhub or foodler.

Great pizza. Friendly atmosphere. Pleasantly surprised. We were planning on going somewhere else, but we’re kind of happy they were closed. Thanks, Caesar’s! We’ll be back. Get pineapple and red onion. It’s delicious.

I’m not a big fan of pepperoni pizza but whenever my husband orders this, I can’t resist! It’s delicious. It’s hard to hear when you call so ensure they have your order and address right for delivery. And enjoy the stodge!

Good meal for the price. Large portions and friendly service. I’ve had food here twice and it has always been good. Buffalo Chicken Calzone was the meal both times.

Italian American pizza sub shop. They make American and Sicilian pizza, calzones, subs, burgers and dinners. Up beat crrw, descent food. Attention to details… A descent local place.

Food was EXCELLENT. Hot, fresh, tasty, and very affordable. Definitely a hidden gem, the steak and cheese subs were the best I’ve had in Boston for sure!

Pros: The food here is terrific! I usually get one of the subs, but the pizza and calzones are good too. The guys working there are really down to earth and friendly. Cons: You’ll get fat. Verdict: The go-to place for pizza and subs in Union Square.

My girlfriend and I have lived in the neighborhood for a year, and have always passed by Caesar’s without going in. From the outside, it seems like a run-of-the-mill sub/pizza joint, and nothing grabbed us as unique. But, then my girlfriend saw a sign outside that touted their homemade meatballs, and we decided to give it a try. As we walked in, the owner(running the counter and making the food) gave us a really nice welcome, and pointed out the highlights of the menu. The food was delicious(my girlfriend said it reminded her of «her grandmother’s meatballs»), and we after we ate we chatted with the owner for a few minutes, and he’s a genuinely nice guy. We’ll be back again!

I was craving a meatball sub. I knew I had seen the sign outside of this place multiple times boasting homemade meatballs and although I tend to be skeptical of the quality of little places like this, I thought why not check it out? I was pleasantly surprised with our first experience here. The sub was pretty darn tasty. It was huge, hot, the sauce was flavorful, the meatballs tasted like my grandma’s(yes, that’s right. And she’s Sicilian), perfect amount of cheese, and it was all placed on bread that is fresh baked right in Winter Hill. It was so big I didn’t think I could eat it all, but once I tasted it, I finished it in one sitting with no problem. The owner was helpful and friendly. The pizza looked tasty too, but we’ll have to try that next time! I’m sold on Caesar’s. They had me at my grandma’s meatballs.

The guys here are real friendly, the place is clean, and there are places to sit. But the pizza isn’t the best. The sauce is too sweet.

As a pizza snob, I usually liked to think that the best pie on Earth could be found somewhere in or between the limits of Manhattan and New Haven. Luckily, as a Boston resident nowadays, Caesar’s has quickly helped me broaden my boundaries for the perfect slice. Sometimes you can just tell when a restaurant and their workers take tremendous pride in their product and at Caesar’s, their devotion to both their product and their customer could not be anymore obvious. The pizza is out of this world and I frequently find myself craving a small cheese for myself or having one right in my lap ready to go. The cheese is perfect and the entire pie tastes of fresh ingredients. Perhaps you’re one of the five or six people on Earth who don’t enjoy pizza. You’re probably thinking«is there anything for me at Caesar’s?» Well, hold onto your butts because the answer is YES! Their wraps are another world of awesome. The Chicken Caesar Wrap is to die for and if you rationed correctly, could probably last you the entire winter. The amount of food they pack into a wrap is impressive enough, and with the price they charge, it’s a steal. At Caesar’s, you’re much more than a customer; you’re a person. You are a face and a personality that the workers now and enjoy serving. Caesar’s will forever have my service. In essence, it’s everything you want a neighborhood business to be.

Here’s the low down: –It’s in walking distance for my home –They have a delicious thin cheese slice(usually get 2 and a soda) –Also love their chicken parm sub –Friendly folks behind the counter Bottom line: it has all the components that your neighborhood pizza place SHOULD have.

I am a really big fan of this place. It is a standard neighborhood type pizza joint, booths and really nothing to speak of by way of décor. But they serve the best pizza I’ve had so far in the Boston area– the crust is chewy, crisp, airy, just as it should be. The marinara sauce is really flavorful, not too sweet, not too acidic, tastes fresh and not like canned tomatoes. Cheese is good quality, doesn’t make the pizza into a grease slick and has flavor. Good mix of toppings. Pineapple is the essential one for me, and they’ve got it and it’s delicious. Ask for the pizza to be a little well done, they sometimes pull it out early and you don’t get the full glory of slightly charred edges and maximum crispiness. I can only really speak to the pizza, but the sandwiches look substantial and I once got garlic bread which comes on the same bread and really enjoyed that. I also appreciate that they will sell you pizza by the slice with whatever toppings you want– I often come because I am craving a specific type of pizza but don’t want to buy a whole pie. The guys who work there are super friendly too. I also find it super impressive when a place obviously responds to feedback. Look at the reviews on here sorted by date and it’s pretty amazing– just keep going up and up. And the bad things have changed– fresh veggies, and they now accept credit. Usually a neighborhood joint like this just relies on local foot traffic for business, but they seem to really be taking the task of producing top-notch food seriously. You really want to try this place so hard.

Have to bump it to a fifth star. These guys put a lot of love into everything they make. Every sub, every pizza, every side, every salad I’ve ever had is just overflowing with ingredients — meats, cheeses, veggies. The word«meager» is not in their vocabulary(nor are the terms«diet», «fat free», or «low carb»). The one hidden gem that I highly recommend is the cheese fries. A big portion of fries in a heaping pool of melted mozzarella. Skip the ketchup and instead get a big side of marinara sauce. Caesar’s will have me coming back to Union Square even after I move to Davis next month.

I’d heard fair reviews for Caesar’s from friends but had never tried it myself before today. The pizza was exactly the way I like it: thin crust with a crisp bottom and fluffy outer crust with a perfect cheese-to-sauce-to-crust ratio. I ordered a single slice and it was bigger than my head and oh so tasty. I just moved to Somerville from southern Maine, where there is almost no good pizza to speak of, so I’m really excited to have a tasty pizza place that a few steps from my door! My brother had a steak and cheese and loved every bite of it as well. The salad was basic but still good and really fresh. The fellas working the counter were super friendly in a non-fake kind of way and double checked with me through making my order to make sure they were doing what i wanted. I’ll definitely be back when I’m craving pizza!

No need to compare Caesar’s to a hipster café or chain restaurant, people. This small, family-owned pizza place is on a different level. It’s a place where the cooks try to make small-talk, and the owner comes around even if it’s just your second visit. It’s also where everything is made when you step in… although covered in grease. But let’s be honest, no one here was expecting a healthy meal. Lots of cheese, fried subs… oh my. But the specialty pizzas are gems — the chicken pizza saves the menu.
