I furthermore enjoyed my experience here. Everone was incredibly friendly and informative. I was given a full maintenace relocking session for my 51 dreadlocks as well as an education lesson on how to do it at home. it was very useful and the cups of tea were quite appreciated.

I went to this establishment 6 years ago when I move to the area. Wanted someone to start my hair locking aka dreadlocks with color. I mention I was allergic to wax and wanted everything natural. OK it started off fine but as soon as my hair started to grow here comes the bees wax my scalp red as the sun in July. They said sorry so I always give someone a second chance. Hair started to grow I say to myself OK great. Want to color getting a few gray hairs no way ask for advice they say they can do but I had to supply the color. I have to buy it so I said OK not knowing that they are the ones to have the color in stock. I should have known this but I have not been to a salon in 10 years especially a natural salon… They have the nerve to charge me full price for coloring my locs and demand that I pay up front. When I didn’t they call me at home and ask for the difference. What kind of customer service is this. Well to make a long short, ten years later the owner spots me at the mall saying your locs look lovely, Hello not lovely in your hands I went to NY. I explain she try to hush me up. In which I said I had to cut all my hair off start all over again and go to a professional all the way to New York City. Paying more money than in Boston. But it is worth it. I am happy that I m going to NYC to have them done they are healthy and maintain well. Ladies and men do not go here if you want to keep the hair you have on your head.
