I was at a nerby food place, Tasty Momo. I was waiting for my food so I decided to check this place out. I went in here to see if they had desert and I ordered Tres De Leche cake expecting it to satisfy my hunger but omg it was DELICIOUS. I then ordered a couple more slices of another cake and it was fantastic! So gooooooood.

Visited the café on a spontaneous whim with my wife. We will definitely be coming back again! The gentleman behind the counter(looked like he might have been the owner?) was SO friendly and excited to share his food with us, all of which looked delicious. He gave us HUGE free samples, even going so far as to freshly fry a variety of savory treats for us(again, on the house… we weren’t asking for it!). We ended up getting the corn meal with pork rib soup, a passionfruit/mango smoothie and a huge slice of tres leches cake. Everything was so good! The soup was probably my favorite dish… delicious, with bread that was perfectly soft and yummy to go along with it. I definitely can’t wait to go again and try something different. Yum!

A few weeks ago, UPS left a slip on my door telling me to pick up my package at a nearby access point. I was surprised to discover the access point was a Portuguese Market — Modelos! Since then, a few more of my packages have been delivered here. So happy that they’re delivered here and kept safe and sound. Each time I’ve come to pick them up, the staff has been super friendly and it’s been a wonderful excuse to try their food. Their sweet breads are AMAZING. Perfectly chewy. I can’t wait to try out something from the butcher shop next time, since BBQ season is right around the corner.

Absolutely loved this place! A friend and I had stayed in the area and needed a spot for breakfast, after wandering around we stumbled across it and I could not have been more pleased! Our meals were absolutely amazing and the staff was extremely helpful and kind. Such a cute little spot they have! They also have a bell near the door for you to rate your service, such a fun and unique idea to get feedback.

UPS mistakenly delivered a package for me to this location, and they told us over and over again that it wasn’t there. They lied repeatedly about it. They are extremely disreputable. Also, note the lies in the owner’s response below. Their staff told both my husband and me that the package was not there, on multiple occasions. These people are *NOT* UPS, they are a butcher shop. They have no business keeping anyone’s packages.

Awesome butcher shop and bakery. We had a turkey emergency on Thanksgiving Day and needed a bird. Modelo’s was open, and turned out to be super-excellent. Roasted turkey, marinated turkey, fresh young Tom, suckling pig, brisket. Very friendly, very helpful. He gave us a bag of Brazilian cheese bread(puff balls of yumminess). Would definitely go there again when we’re in town.

Stopped in yesterday for the first time and I will most certainly be returning. I purchased some short ribs from the butcher counter and while it seemed there was a language barrier between myself and the butcher, another friendly co-worker came right over to help with the translation. He was very informative and extremely nice and even gave me some«cheese bread» on the house to try(and it was delicious!). Also the short ribs I purchased were great! I never even knew they served breakfast and sandwiches and I will returning very soon to try out some other menu items. I highly recommend this shop as everyone was so nice and courteous and very informative, which is hard to find these days!

One of the best breakfast sandwiches ever. They are happy for you to specify that you want your eggs any way. The roll is massive and the ham very tasty. The cheese is also way better than usual. My girlfriend had a full breakfast and was very happy with her choice as well.

You might remember a time when Modelo’s bakery was across the street from Modelo’s butcher and market. Now they’re all one location– one stop shopping! My review is only of the café portion since I haven’t had the chance to partake in the«market» part yet. This is a great neighborhood spot run by a very friendly family man. The bacon, egg and cheese sandwich is seriously to die for. Delicious coffee. Free wifi(ask for the password). A decent amount of seating. Very friendly service. On Sunday morning at 10:30 there’s a short line, but it moves quickly. My one complaint is that the case of delicious baked goods is not labeled. I felt a little silly having to ask what every single thing is. Try out Modelo’s and support a local business!

I just had the best experience in this store! I came in looking for bread to serve with a sausage dish my boyfriend was making and the young woman behind the counter took complete care of me(I was clearly out of my element). I told her about the dish, and she got so excited talking about the amazing fresh breads that were just coming out of the oven. After discussing it with a couple other people, she recommended some delicious rolls. They were delicious, fresh, and inexpensive! I was also able to get a couple other groceries while I was there, and was treated to some AMAZING cheese bread! I left with the perfect bread and plenty of ideas for dishes to make with the delicious meats I saw on display at their butchers. This place is awesome!

The pao de queijo redefines happiness. Great(strong) coffee and delicious passion fruit juice. Scrumptious breakfast sandwiches and lunch. You really can’t go wrong!

Combining pacificoro model and the butcher shop across the street? Yes, puuuleSse. Awesome meat. Fresh vegetables. Unique cuts of hard to find animals. Now there’s a bakery and café in the same building. I’m thinking cheddar croissants(pao de queijo)!! These guys know how to wrap cheese into buttery, flaky bread and make a morsel you won’t forget. The meat rocks. Go quickly.

This place certainly knows how to please a customer. From their great attitudes to their work ethic. My mother and I were, oddly enough, hunting for the beat prices of Brazilian chocolate eggs for easter. We went to 6 local bakeries/Brazilian shops in search of the beat deals, due to how many eggs we wanted to gift. Its always absurd how much imported items are priced but this place was more than happy to sell their last bunch of chocolate eggs to us. They told us they’d sell the last eggs, which weren’t much of a variety, even though they believed another local bakery would have much more of a variety. Humble, polite and helpful. Once we had purchased the chocolate eggs my mother lingered towards a glass case that held savory traditional Brazilian o’durves. She asked about the freshness of the savory chicken tort and was eager for a piece. The«Torta de frango» was delicious, fresh and satisfying, enough for my mother to share with me. On the way out we had our attention caught by 2 women whom had bought a box of freshly made«pao de quiejio”/cheesey bread o’durves. We purchased 6 pao de quiejio for the trip to another store, for more chocolate eggs. They we so delicious I had 3 before I got to my car. This place is a jewel. I only wish I lived closer so I could pop in for breakfasts on the go. Cheers!

Sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich with lettuce and tomato is what you’re missing in life. The egg in the sandwich is actually fried. A whole fried egg in a breakfast sandwich. Not one of those custard patties shaped like an egg. Not scrambled. Actual fried egg. Also, idk if I’ve ever had a more salty and savory breakfast sausage. Get the passion fruit juice. Trust. It’s not too sweet and perfectly tangy.

I came in here on a whim around lunch time recently and I am so happy I did. All the comfort food a girl could want! I got the beef pastelle(a thin, crispy dough outside and delicious meat inside, I think you can do cheese and/or chicken inside too?), the cheese bread/balls, and a few other things. The cheese bread was really delicious, I was surprised. The staff was super nice, very patient with me as I asked what many things were and what they recommended. I’ll definitely be back to try more.

The ham egg and cheese sandwich is out of this world. The fresh roll it comes on is perfect and the cheese is nice and gooey(so unique too). I feel like I could write an entire review on the roll alone. The two girls that generally work there in the mornings are so nice and welcoming too. You really can’t beat great hospitality like that. Thanks for being wicked awesome.

I live 2 blocks from this heavenly bakery. Personally, that is within dangerous proximity. I can walk away with $ 20 worth of coconut balls, sweet corn bread and coconut cookies… to last me a mere day. Seriously, I drive past this place every day and fight myself to not buy cookies. The ladies here are super nice and their prices are extremely reasonable. They are not the most descriptive about their menu items, but we have never disliked anything we have gotten from this place. It’s also fun to just buy one or two of everything and go wild. If you are huge fan of coconut, this is your joint — if you are not, be cautious about the baked goods.

This place is awesome! You can get an omelet, home fries, and coffee for $ 5ish and the ingredients are wicked fresh. They are super nice.
