Wanted to explore this place, but it was closed when we arrived(June 28 at 1 pm)…The open sign was posted in the window and the Facebook page stated it would be open. We were so disappointed. It looked wonderful through the front window…(sniff).

Great spot! My wife and I recently moved to Somerville, and since then we’ve picked up several cheap but fairly classy finds at Odds & Ends. We’ve picked up a lamp, an end table, a two-foot-tall Santa Claus doll that looked like a piece of art, and other odds & ends. The owner is a good guy who really knows his stuff, helps out his customers, and probably belongs on Pawn Stars. The selection is a little limited, but overall I’d recommended checking it out if you’re looking for random pieces of furniture, knick knacks, white elephant gifts, etc.

A nice place to find all sorts of random goods– DVDs, some video games, tons of quirky kitsch, and good quality furniture, all at VERY reasonable prices! Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with all the questions I asked about random things on the shelves. If you’re in the neighborhood, it’s definitely worth a visit– this is one of those places where you never know what you’ll find until you browse around! PROTIP: Parking can be a little tricky for non-Somervilliains, but there’s additional non-permit/2-hour parking just around the corner, a little ways down School Street.
