Shitty liquor store. Poor selection and rude staff. Charges me $ 16.04 for a six pack of ballast point even keel ($ 10 anywhere else). Hate this place but they have you by the short and curlies. Only use in EXTREME emergencies.

Mundelein, IL
Dingy, dusty, half-​empty shop with poor selection and very unfriendly men behind the counter. I’ve heard from others that they’ve been overcharged. This place is not befitting of the much-​improved Somerville Main Street experience. It’s the only place on downtown where you can buy beer and liquor, so it’s clear they feel the lack of competition gives them carte blanche to keep a dirty store with old alcohol and overcharge distracted customers rushing to one of the BYO restaurants down the street. Just wait till the big Wine Country opens next to Shop Rite in a few months. We’ll see what happens to Path Liquors then.

Came here before going out to eat at Origin, around the corner. Bought 2 regular sized bottles of white wine that were marked around $ 12 each (which I didn’t notice, so that was my fault) but when I left I realized they had charged me $ 39 for the two bottles. I was so angry that that they ripped me off and I didn’t even notice. Bastards.
Make sure you check the price before giving your payment at the register.

Not a huge selection on anything, but can’t beat the convenience. Beer selection is disappointing. For wine you’re better off going across the street. +1 for the late night hours.

Came to Buy-​rite to pick up a bottle before dinner and kill some time. Their selection isn’t the largest but if you’re looking for nothing out of the ordinary they should have something to suit your needs. They have a decent selection of Saki and have my favorite brand that most places don’t carry. The only thing is to be mindful of the price and what they charge you. They over charged me a dollar a bottle and I had to say something and tell them to go check the prices before the changed it. Kind of shady in my mind.
