Ever since my first time going there a few years back when John was just getting started I haven’t been to another studio in MA I like his vibes and his work. I highly recommend Phoenix Down to any artist looking for great product!

One of boston’s best to record with. Booking a time slot at either Studio A with John or Studio B with Tag will guarantee yourself a great time. Very chill and welcoming atmosphere. The engineers will do their best to coach you if you’re having a hard time hitting a note or can’t figure out a harmony. These guys really know their stuff. Some of the best sounding mixes I’ve gotten from a studio of this caliber. 10⁄10 would recommend.

Awesome spot. One of the nicest dudes I’ve ever worked with. Super comfortable and relaxed environment. We crushed out tracking for four tunes in a day then came back to mix. John rules and we’ll absolutely be back in the very near future.

The sound quality of the recordings is definitely top notch, for an affordable price too. They work around your time and will enjoy working with any genre of music. They also set up shows, so they’ll really help you and your band get more popular.

This studio is totally awesome! Currently tracking an EP here, and everything is sounding amazing! The people at Phoenix Down are super down to Earth, and have been extremely helpful throughout the recording process. Unlike some other places, the cost of recording here isn’t stupidly expensive. They gave us a great deal on tracking. Equipment wise, the stuff here is top notch. Phoenix Down has had everything we’ve needed. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to track your record, I would definitely consider this spot.
