I took my prized possession, a hand-me-down Canada Goose coat, to be dry cleaned here after an unfortunate gasoline spilling incident.(Don’t ask.) The guy was really nice and basically said«we’ll do our best, but no promises». Three days later I picked the coat up, and it looked(and smelled) brand new. This cost me $ 10. Definitely a five-star experience.

Luis, the owner, is literally the best guy ever. He always greets me with a smile when I come in, holding the door and helping me with my usually overloaded loads, and even moving stuff from washer to dryer for me. He doesn’t mind giving me quarters for smaller change and he’s even folded my laundry for me on two separate occasions because he knew it was a stressful week for me. The prices are fair, the hours are good, the machines work well, and the service cannot be beat. We just bought a house and I have to say he’s one of the things I will miss most about the neighborhood. I will likely continue to use the dry cleaning services just to say hello! Highly recommend.

I drop my laundry off here for wash+fold service all the time. They’re fairly fast, moderately priced and very friendly. No complaints here.

I am visiting my boyfriend in Medford during my summer vacation. He only has one coin operated washer and dryer in the basement of the duplex. Since I am here for a few weeks, I decided to look up a laundromat service. Luis got so many good reviews on Unilocal I decided to try it out. I good reviews were right! Luis was so nice to help me if I needed it. There were plenty of different-sized machines. Luis even changed over from washer to dryer with no extra charge. There are only a few extra large dryers, but they never seem to be taken up by other customers whenever I go. I think for him to fold it is extra, but I never used that service. If you need a laundry service, check this place out. You can even go next door to get Sushi, or walk down to Davis square for a bit, come back and your laundry will be done.

I use the drop off service here, and I agree with the most recent reviewer. This is a great place run by great people. They usually round the weight of the laundry DOWN a bit when it comes to calculating a price, the work is done promptly, they do a great job, and they are extremely nice. The first time I used the service, I didn’t even need my ticket because they remembered me. It’s a pleasure doing business here.

I don’t have enough nice things to say about this establishment. The couple who own it are nothing but pleasant and make every effort to remember your name. I am always warmly greeted and helped out in every manner. If you live in Davis Sq. or Powderhouse Sq., make sure you try them out. You will not be disappointed. Tufts students get a 10% discount!

I love this laundromat and their wash-and-fold service. It’s very reasonably priced and the service is great. The lady who works there is super nice and always remembers my name. She always says she can work on my load immediately so it can be ready whenever I need it. I’ve never had a problem with this laundromat in the dozens and dozens of times I’ve used them and thanks to them I don’t even miss not having laundry in my new apt building.

Scenario: Girlfriend is landing at Logan in a few hours, I have fifty things to do before she arrives, among those is cleaning my large comforter. It’s much too big for the washing machine in my apartment. I call up Powderhouse Laundromat and ask if their machines can handle it. They say yes — so I drive over(a good two minutes from my apartment). I walk in, the nice lady guides me to the correct machine, helps me load it up and turn it on. After it turns on, I ask her if she’d mind moving it over to the dryer when the time comes. I hand her a roll of quarters and dash out the door. I swing by 90 minutes later and she greets me as I walk in, hands me my quarters and the professionally folded comforter. Laundromat lady — you’re a lifesaver.
