Doctor knows her stuff. The receptionist is so RUDE! She is the worst person I have every met. She treats you like crap… Without her the place would get 5 stars from me but since she’s there, it’s eh. The girl who helps you look for the classes is awesome, very sweet and helpful.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. DiGeso for the past 14 years. We are very satisfied with the personalized service we receive from Dr. DiGeso and her staff. I am particularly grateful to Dr. DiGeso for diagnosing my then 2 ½ year old son with an astigmatism of which I was unaware. I had taken my son for his yearly checkups at his pediatrician, but the pediatrician never noticed that he had an issue. With Dr. DiGeso’s help, my son’s problem was corrected. He has been wearing glasses for the past 11 years and is currently considering contact lenses. My 16 year old daughter has been wearing contact lenses for the past four years. I am always impressed with Dr. DiGeso and her staff’s patience with my children, especially when it comes to choosing frames and training in the use of contact lenses. There is a very nice selection of frames for children and adults. The office is immaculate, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I will continue to recommend friends and family to Somerville Family Eyecare!

Despite being a «Family» Eyecare office, Dr. DiGeso does NOT work well with children. She lacks patience and the bedside manner to deal with them. Not to get into too much detail, but she completely discredited my son’s poor vision complaints stating he only wanted glasses, and didn’t need them. I took him to a children’s eye doctor and sure enough they figured out his problem right away. Also, the receptionist is so unbelievably RUDE. She is always short on the phone, and is so condescending. Nobody in that office, with the exception of one of the girls who helps you pick out glasses (I can’t remember her name), has any sort of customer service skills. So if you want to be treated like crap from beginning to end then by all means give this office a shot, but if you’re looking for a PROFESSIONAL and FRIENDLY office experience you won’t find it here.
