Things were nice and pleasant enough when I spoke to Steve on the phone. He told me that he was very reasonable and price fair. Someone would come out the next day and give me a free estimate. Nick came out, looked over the job and even put on a doorknob that fell off(it screwed right on). When we got to price, to plaster a hole the size of a paperback book, he told me it would cost $ 175. He said that was the minimum they charged no matter how small the job. When I told him that was expensive, he became defensive and said that he did not have plaster, he had to go to Home Depot, gas costs a lot… I said that his dad had told me they were reasonably priced. He told me it was not against the law to tell people that. I didn’t know what he was talking about until he told me that I owed him $ 40 for putting on the doorknob. $ 40??? To twist on a doorknob??? It’s too bad that this company does not see the big picture or how they treat potential customers. Please remember, if it is a small job, they will not charge less than $ 175. I would be scared to ask what they pay for a big job. I paid the $ 40 by the way.

Steve & his guys show up when they say they will, they always keep a clean jobsite and his prices come in on budget. Plus he’s also very easy to work with & can come up with some really great ideas that I hadn’t even thought about. Really impressed me, the job came out even better than I’d hoped.
