Decent neighborhood liquor store! Not always the best selection, considering that Ball Square Wines and Downtown Liquors are both relatively close, but you can argue with convenience. Even so, they have enough stuff in every category that you can probably find what you want. My only gripe is that they don’t have prices on most of the beer. The staff there are friendly and helpful, and I’m sure I’ll be going back.

The selection here is quite comprehensive, especially considering the size of the place. This is a great place to stop on the way to a friend’s place to pick up a six-pack a little more exciting than Blue Moon. The prices aren’t crazy cheap nor crazy expensive. Why don’t I like this place more? They don’t take Discover and there is a minimum. Although I have been there dozens of times, the cashiers whisk me out the door as fast as they can so they can continue to watch TV in silence. Trying to strike up conversation is pulling teeth here.

Every lazy Tufts undergrad’s dream. All of the basics, a little bit of everything, from Bailey’s to saki to prosecco to cider to Burnets, etc. etc. Full sprectrum of quality and price, the rubinoff to the grey goose. Teele Liquors is disturbingly close to campus and always brightens my *frequent* liquor ventures with the very kind, cordial and relaxed employees. Open until 11 pm. Although the wine selection isn’t the most extensive, there is plenty of selection that goes above and beyond that of any basic corner liquor store somerville. Thanks Teele!

Nothing fancy but cheap boxes of bota box wine for $ 19.99. I’ll take it.

Hooray for my neighborhood booze purveyors! Though Teele Square Liquors doesn’t have anywhere near the variety that some of the better shops in the area have(Downtown Wine & Liquors and Ball Square Fine Wines), the fact that they are literally 23 steps from my apartment allows me to forgive them. They do, however, manage to cram a ton of decent six packs, wines, and a modest selection of liquor into a tiny floorspace, so kudos. The prices are pretty fair for the area. If I am looking for a specific craft brew or whisk[e]y or am looking to buy a large quantity of libations I usually go elsewhere, but Teele Square Liquors is my go-to for reinforcements and mid-range six packs. Plus, they stock Narragansett, so that’s worth at least infinity stars.

The cashier refused to take my VISA card because my purchase was under $ 7. When I told him that it is illegal to charge a minimum, he still refused to take my card. When I asked him his name, he said it was«Jason I Don’t Care.» Avoid this place.

This is my corner store, and they’re great, but I’m curious why they bother devoting so much space to wine. The beer selection is amazing, considering the small space that they are working with. Don’t be misunderstandin’ me: I love wine, especially this wine they have called«Luzon verde», which is fantastic. It’s just that ¾ of the place is filled with terrible, industrial wines that no one wants to drink. It would be nice if the wine selection were culled down to the ones that humans are buying for consumption. I realize that we, the Teele square residents, are not the wealthy discerning customers that a store might get in a more busy square, but still. Just because you’re aiming at our market doesn’t mean you need to go industrial. With a little care, you can find some less expensive wines that are palatable. The hard alcohol is great too. Once, I came in and mentioned a bourbon that I liked(Bulleit), and the owner wrote it down and ordered it for me. That was amazing. FYI, Bulleit is the best bourbon out there. This place has an impressive selection, and is THE place to go if you live in Teele.

cute little liquor store. the guy who mans the counter is always sweet and friendly, and he always sees that my favourite red wine is stocked, after listening to me complain once about it only being in stock sporadically. this store has a pretty good selection of liquor and beer(personally not a huge connoisseur) for my needs, along with a small selection of korean sojus and japanese sakes.

While I lived in Somerville this was the local liquor store and it really is impressive. Helpful staff, they stuff this place with selection of all kinds of liquors, wines, ciders, etc. Good price for everything. Depending on when you come in there might be a Sox game on or Korean soap operas playing on a small tv which just adds to the low-key feel of this place. It’s practical and off-beat at the same time. If you have a picture of yourself on hand you can ask the owner, Jae, for a personal portrait on a Post-It note and join all the other patrons who’ve had thier likenessess mounted on the wall. In short this place is a great liquor store with good prices, good staff, and a good selection of whatever alchohol you could want. I may live in Medford now but a trip here is always a good idea.

If you live in Teele or Davis it’s a good place to get beer or wine. You know what you’re getting with most of these small liquor stores. Nothing spectacular, but most of what you’ll find is a big step up from… say natty lite.
