I’m here spacing out, looked down at my keyboard, at my fingers and at the ring I’m wearing and thought about how much I love this ring. That’s what prompted me to look up Fritz & Mischell and that’s how this review was born. I met F&M at the Marin arts and crafts fair earlier this year. I was just browsing the different booths without the intention of buying but F&M’s booth was one that I could not walk away from. I love their simple, sweet, and sophisticated designs. Their organic rings collection in particular makes my heart skip a beat. Both F&M are very nice as well. They were patient and even offered to take a custom order in case the ring I was eyeing didn’t fit. Luckily for me, someone who likes instant gratification, the ring at the booth fits and stacks very nicely with another ring I had(not a F&M creation). There’s a special something about their pieces that I can’t quite put my finger on… but I’m pretty sure no one else out there has the exact same ring I have. Their prices are very fair and would make a great one of a kind gift for someone or yourself. :)

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Walnut Creek, CA
Stunning and otherwise nothing short of spectacular. I found Fritz & Mischell one Saturday afternoon in Walnut Creek at a super droll Art & Craft fair. A sleepy«fair» that proffered stall after stall of the useless and the horribly heinous. Being a big fan of jewlery that isn’t so «typical,» I gravitated immediately towards F&M’s standout displays. F&M’s designs are what fashion editors and art afficiandos would call«organic.» They do NOT cast, but choose to craft EACHPIECE by hand. The duo have experience working with all precious and semi-precious metals(gold, silver, platinum) as well as precious and semi-precious stones. Their website offers a mere glimpse into F&M’s reporitoire and from they said, they often custom design pieces with clients as well. Prices go from a week’s coffee allowance($ 25+) to a month’s mortgage($ 5000+). They have some lovely stacking rings that I fell in love with– sterling silver band that was torched(think of a hammered effect) and finished with a semi-precious stone in the center. The particular one I had my eyes on had a delicious fushia garnet. The boyfriend wanted to buy one for me; however, I have VERY small digits(4 – 4.5 on the ring finger) and all the ones on display were too big. Not one to disappoint, F&M measured my finger, took down my metal and stone preferences, and promised to make and ship one out within 2 weeks. Awesome. Thanks, Fritz & Mischell! I’ll definitely be returning for more custom pieces and singing your praises to anyone in search of lasting, wearable works of art.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Mill Valley, CA
I met Fritz & Mischell at the Mill Valley Art Fair last year. I was eyeing a simple gold & silver ring with a round stone. I wandered around the Art Fair 2 or 3 times trying to rationalize my NEED for this ring.(I even called the bf to ask if he wanted to buy me some jewelry. He didn’t quite get it, but there was a nice diamond necklace in my stocking at Christmas. Thanks, M!) But by the time I’d dragged both of my art-fair-going buddies back to the 3 Arts stall for the third time, the ring was sold. :(However, Fritz & Mischell took care of me and offered to make me one just like it, in my size, and sell it to me at the art-fair-closeout-sale price! I picked it up a few weeks later at their cool studio in Sonoma(which is not really for public shopping). LOVE the ring. Very arty, not the standard jewelry-shop overly bling. I often get compliments on it’s unique custom-made look. Now, back to someone *else* buying me a ring …
