Great local store for produce. Most fruits and vege’s are cheaper than the major grocery stores. They also carry a lot of local grown and sourced items (nuts, cheeses, sauces, etc) at a very reasonable price. Never regret stopping by. Did not give it 5 stars due to a hassle of parking on busy days.

This place is so much better on the inside than you would guess from looking at it.
It has a huge range of fruit and vegetables at very reasonable prices. They are not organic, and obviously they do not have any form of traceable provenance, but they are of good quality and are sold at exceptional prices. Also, they stock a surprising range of dry goods. I nowadays do the base of my shopping here and pick up everything else at Sonoma Market — I get better produce and it saves a small fortune.

Cool little place within walking distance of the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn. We went there to get bread, cheese, crackers and deli meat on our trip up to Sonoma. Prices were fair and all of the items were very high quality. Nice and relaxed too. It was a bit cold since it’s open, but no worries.
Next time we’re up there, we will definitely stop in again!

It’s like having a farmer’s market open year-​round– stop into the Fruit Basket, enjoy the aroma of the fresh fruit, and pick up something just because. The selection is seasonal but good, so if you need a particular item, be ready to substitute or check out another place.
This location is smaller than the Fruit Basket 1 on Sonoma Hwy, but probably more convenient for most of the people in town. 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4.
