This place is amazing! I had a sub-​woofer that needed repair. Guarantee Electronics was recommended to me by my home-​video install people. The repair was done extremely quickly. And John, the very pleasant owner, identified a low cost expedient approach for the needed repair. The cost was extremely affordable and beyond fair. I couldn’t have had a more positive experience and recommend Guarantee Electronics with extreme enthusiasm. John is a great guy.

John is honest, skilled, and reasonable. Don’t recycle your misbehaving appliance until you’ve consulted him first. For a small fee, you’ll get an expert opinion on whether your machine still has life left in it and, if it does, you’ll be pleased at the repair job and bill. Definitely a community treasure!

We have been in business at the location since 1981. Have seen a lot of changes. Estimates for small items are free. Larger items like televisions are $ 20. We cannot be expected to pay for an item if it cannot be fixed. Just pick it up or tell us to get rid of it! If you drop off an item I WILL get back to you with a phone call. In a fall tradition, customers and anyone else can go behind the shop to my fig trees and help themselves. My father and I planted them in 1976. Like the trees, I will be around! Pretty awesome! I had just acquired a 70’s receiver and not only did he know everything about it, he knew there was nothing wrong, just needed some internal cleaning… Honest as can be. Nice guy. Fast work. Cheap! I won’t throw away another electronic again unless he looks at it first.

I tend to be a more modern type of gal when it comes to misbehaving electronics — I usually believe that it more expedient, and probably less expensive to simply replace the machine rather than having it repaired. The boyfriend, on the other hand, is more old school and will always attempt to get something repaired before giving in and replacing it.
John at Guarantee Electronics is the boyfriend’s go-​to guy when it comes to repairing anything electronic — TV’s, VCR/​DVDs, answering machines, etc. The prices are more than reasonable, and when something isn’t worth repairing (i.e. it would cheaper to just replace), John is honest enough to say so. When my TV was on the fritz (the sound was dropping out), he repaired it for an incredibly reasonable price. Sure, I wanted an excuse to go out and buy a new HD TV, but my old (now 15 yrs) came back good as new and I couldn’t beat the price.
