JT Automotive Performance

JT has worked on all three of our cars. He goes the extra mile, he provides good (and reasonable) estimates.
He’s an excellent diagnostician and clearly lays down which issues are a must, which can wait and which are nice to have. He does not try to upsell you or push unnecessary fixes.
He provides options on parts and if you have time, he will source parts to keep cost down. Not always possible if you need your car right away.
You’re in good hands with JT!

JT was wonderful to work with! We were stuck in Napa with our alternator and battery busted, and JT was very communicative until he was able to come out to us and look at the issue. He explained everything clearly, and gave us a very reasonable deal.

JT is extremely knowledgeable about nearly every make and every model for most cars made, particularly European and Japanese makes (which is nearly everything). Most impressive of all is how well he listens to each customer and how patient he is in sharing his knowledge and explaining sometimes complex mechanical issues to his customers. I have never heard JT hesitate once when confronted with difficult to diagnose car problems. He seems to be able to identify problems with cars so quickly I think he’s a car psychic!
Every single time that I’ve done business with JT Automotive Performance, I have been treated with respect, kindness and with the highest professionalism. I believe that JT’s prices are so competitive that I actually worry if I am being undercharged most of the time. If JT has to charge more than the first estimate because of some unforeseen problem when taking apart the engine for some known repair, he is so apologetic and tries hard to make the price easier. Almost nobody else would ever do that for you, especially with the high quality of work that they do.
Any business large or small is only as good as the people who work there. But in very small businesses, the person IS that business. The service that JT’s performs is just the way his fortunate customers get to receive that care.
I count myself as one of those fortunate few and as a result, I have enjoyed virtually non-​stop dependability from our two Audis.

JT is THE guy. One of the few and only that I trust with my baby without my supervision. JT has been helping me build my Audi for about a year now and I’ll take it no where else. His tuning is on par, and the quality of work is unbeatable. JT and his team obviously take pride in their work and it’s clear that they’re here for the long term bragging rights, not just the short term monetary gains.

Short version: the repairs were done well, done quickly, and done under the original estimate. Will return whenever the work is beyond my level of expertise.
Long Version: Had my Audi towed from the bay area to Jons shop because I trust his experience and work ethic. There were several things that needed to be done to my car to get it back on the road, most of which I new about. He was very thorough with his diagnostic work and checked in with me throughout the repair. I generally expect shops to find other things that «need» to be done and to try desperately to sell me on them, what I did not expect is for him to fully express the value or importance of each potential repair and tailor the level of work done to my tight time and budget. It is because of this i got my car back in half the time I expected and also the reason I will likely go back for any other major repairs
