Expensive, but, if you want quality items for the home, this is the place in Sonoma. I gave it three stars instead of four(five would be that they are«perfect» and they are not) because I have seen some of their items in other high-end shops for less. But the ambiance is lovely and I always find something beautiful there that is within my price range. I have read reviews and spoken with people that mentioned questionable customer service. Yes, I do believe(another reason for 3 stars) that they could polish up their service. My guess is that if you’re wearing a huge diamond and are dripping with money that you get the best service! Too bad. Still I love going in there…

Bought a fountain with a chicken shooting water out of its mouth. I don’t know why I like it here but this place is nice to shop at and the fancy staff are very personable.

A beautiful collection of dinnerware, linens, paintings and décor items. There is something for everyone here. Great place to find gifts or for redecorating. Lovely place settings for garden dining. There is so much to see.

Joan and Linda are wonderful There store is amazing and they are so incredibly helpful. They took such good care of us when we came in looking for an engagement gift, which, they helped us find a horseshoe frame. They we’re meticulous in making sure the picture was put in the frame perfectly. Their customer service was just outstanding, can’t wait to shop there again!

Worst place I visited in Sonoma. I was looking at a cookbook called«Cooking for two» and was about to take it over to the cash register and buy it when I got a txt message from my friends still having brunch across the street. I replied to the txt and kept looking at the book. One of the employees rushed over to me as aggressively asked me to put my phone away. She said I could not take pictures in the store without permission. I told her I was just texting my friends. She said she was sick of people«photographing her recipe books». She was livid and very rude. I showed her my pics to prove to her I was innocent and told her I had no intention to photograph her books. She said she didn’t about my pictures. It was amazing to see this kind of behavior. I had NEVEREVER in my life been treated this way. She refused t apologize and walked away. I am sure the people around us were as confused as I was with the whole situation. Is this the way they treat tourists? I would say stay away from this place unless you want to risk the wrath of their iPhone fearing vicious staff.

Gayle and I first stopped in at Summer Vine in February. I was impressed with the colourful Portugal-like plates, the French glassware, and décor. Store staff were also nice, despite the fact that we carried in some covered coffee despite the signs asking us not to. Gayle was particularly taken with a framed art piece featuring a dog and inspirational sayings. When something attracts my attention, I will often leave the premises, think about it, and maybe come back another day. Gayle’s turn for her piece of art came today. She took one look, immediately decided that this item still made her happy, and pulled out her credit card before I could say«Bob’s Your Uncle»! I was a good husband and stayed quietly supportive and tossed a few port glasses into the bill for good measure. But what would Derrick and Snail say?

This is a great store for gifts, home décor items, furniture, etc. They have beautiful asian antiques, Simon Pearce, Mariposa, italian ceramics and great cookbooks. Although I was just browsing I found the sales woman completely helpful — she went out of her way to say hi and answered my questions fully.

This was by far the best home shop on the square. I could have spent a fortune on dishes, glassware, quilts, linens and décor. We went in twice… we just could not get enough! As it was, I took home 4 darling goblets that have a bee motif… a steal at $ 12 each!
