The Stinging Nettle

This beautiful little apothecary is a welcome addition to the growing community of Boyes Hot Springs. As you find yourself walking up a stair way you can instantly follow your nose to an intimate setting of beautiful tinctures of oils and clearly labeled glass jars full of plant matter like pink roses, lemongrass, gingseng root and arnica flowers. I also found salts and cauldrons, a few gift items and a small library of books! As i am not versed that well in teas and oils it was welcomed experience to sit on the lovely red velvet couch and learn a few things about what i was looking for and what i was looking at. Abi, the owner, is very welcoming (she even gave me a hug) and she is incredibly knowledgeable about her wares. She helped guide me on my search for a sleep aid and suggested some calming things to steep in a tea. I would highly recommend visiting this special space, it feels good to support local and continue to learn and help my body in a more natural state. Thank you Abi for opening up this store!
