Went to an estate sale today and selected a few items. Tried to negotiate a price with owner of 49er estate liquidator owner, Montey, but he quickly became unreasonable and confrontational. When I asked for the price of one item, he greatly inflated it ($ 10 for an outdated, small globe). Then he told me to not buy anything and wanted me to leave. I have never been spoken to so rudely and so quickly in a business transaction. He seems used to getting what he wants through bullying. Upon further discussion with other garage sale frequenters, I was told he has a bad reputation for being rude, high prices, and even blindly stealing! Steer clear of him and this company!!!
