Had one of their pizza bagels at a shop in Groveland three weeks ago. Dreaming about it now. Never been to their Sonora shop, but I want to!

I have been coming to Bagel Bin since high school which was 15 years ago. My teenagers are now going before Sonora High starts in mornings. I went today and still delicious as ever. Pizza bagel is timeless!!!

Awesome bagels cute little hole in the wall place. Been going here for years, Sarge is one of those people that treat people as he is treated. If you’re fun and kind he’s the same way back. The bagels are always fresh and yummy, but get there early because they sell out fast!!!

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. We wanted to support a local business however we received terrible customer service and the bagels here aren’t worth it. Don’t waist your time coming her, go to Safeway instead, you’ll get better quality and better service.

Sarge is awesome some people get offended by his dry sense of humor but I think it makes the place even better! If you’re easily offended sarge really doesn’t care and that’s ok because the bagels and sandwiches really are great.

Be prepared to have your food prepared with dirty hands! Money is handled and then your food is prepared without hand washing or gloves. I asked for gloves and was given a BIG attitude. NEVER going back! Such rudeness!

This is absolutely the BEST place to get a bagel in Tuolumne County. Sarge is a great guy, very friendly, and a very good person. Sarge is one of us(Christian), so all my brothers and sisters get over there and support the bagel Bin. He is also one of the most patriotic people I have ever met. He loves this country and supports our troops. His bagels are made fresh every morning. You will not find a better tasting bagel anywhere. Check this place out my firends. We love you Sarge!!!

Should be renamed to Bigots Bagels. The owner Sarge is a homophobic and rude social conservative with conservative talk radio on and a terrible attitude, AND he is proud of it. Go find Bagel Bin on Facebook to see who your bagel and coffee dollars are supporting.

Used to go here ALL the time. Stopped going because every time I went the owner had a attitude and wasn’t friendly whatsoever. He even said to my friend(who is from Sonora) «you’re not from here are you. In a rude way. He makes you nervous to even order!!! Kind of like the soup nazi!!! But with bagels!!! I’ve heard he has gotten rude over the years from several people. No way to run a business. Safeway bagels are just as good. And you don’t have to deal with rude person behind the counter.

Bigots and they don’t even know it. Read the bible and understand it before you open your mouth and insert foot. Bagels and customer service are terrible!

How is this business still open? Attempted to give this local small coffee shop my business and was amazed that their could be someone so rude working behind the counter. What happened to the friendly small town I grew up in? This short, dark curly haired fella verbally assaulted my mother for asking to use the restroom, when I calmly asked him what his problem was he did the same to me. I told him to cancel our order and walked out and left with a «have a good f #@$€!& day». I hope this guy is the owner, if not he must have them black mailed to keep his job. Good riddance Bagel Bin, stop giving this beautiful small town a bad name with horrible employees. Oh this was Saturday morning 1÷17÷15.

Stopped by the bagel bin a few months ago when I visited Sonora. They had an awesome selection of bagels. I had their breakfast bagel with bacon and sausage which was amazing! I even took a couple pizza bagels for my long drive back to SoCal and it was very good! Can’t wait to go back on my next visit. I really want to try their jalapeño cheese bagel. I just got hungry thinking about it.

Advertises fresh bagels. On Monday August 4 they certainly were not fresh. Had we not taken our two bagels as takeout and eaten them there they would have been returned for refund.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant/coffee shop/etc. And that is absolutely NO exaggeration. I ordered a mocha and the pleasant fellow(note the sarcasm) behind the counter named Josh informed me that they don’t serve mochas. I kindly pointed out that they have mochas boldly displayed on their menu and he snapped back at me and told me if I had a problem with the menu that I could let«Sarge» know, as if I’m supposed to know who Sarge is, and then I suggested that they cover the mocha up on the menu with tape(as they had obviously done with other items on it), so people didn’t order it if they don’t serve it. What a concept! Again, he snapped at me as rudely as I’ve ever been treated in my life, wouldn’t even look at me, and sarcastically told me to write a suggestion note and leave it in the suggestion cup(which is non-existent). A little tip to Josh who works at the Bagel Bin: if you have an issue serving people, customer service is not the place for you and your attitude. I’m sorry you’ve obviously had life issues, parents probably divorced, probably still reeling from your recent break-up with your boyfriend, but that is no excuse to treat a customer as if they were an incompetent idiot unable to catch the abrupt tone seeping from your over-the-top, out-of-control attitude. Rest assured, I will NEVEREVER come back to this place, and will even go out of my way to make sure none of the people that I love and care about have the chance to encounter such a rude individual like yourself. You don’t belong out in public. Do the public a favor, don’t work with them. Might I suggest attending group therapy for your anger problems. Oh, and the cinnamon roll I bought? Crusty, old, hard, and had the most horrid flavor. My 5 year old could make a better cinnamon roll.

Bagel bin bagels have always been and always will be my favorite. I can’t seem to find bagels that compare. I love how much Sarge cares about his customers. I always order some to bring home with me so I can continue to enjoy them. The sausage and egg breakfast sandwich on a pizza bagel is my personal favorite. After that you’re set for the day food wise. I highly recommend bagel bin.

The best ever! LOVEIT! I think anyone who says they don’t love it must have gone on a bad day. The people are so nice and friendly, it’s SO good! I recommend it to everyone!

As a passing tourist I stopped by this shop to purchase a dozen bagels for tomorrow’s breakfast for our group. This was mid June, 2013 in the height of the summer tourist season. The male behind the counter was talking to a local who was quite chatty. I waited patiently as I did feel it was right to interrupt. However, the male employee made no effort to curtail the local’s discussion(gossiping about someone) or to multi-task and help me while listening to the story. Anyway, the male employee told me he could only sell me two or three bagels as he didn’t have enough and didn’t want to run out for the lunch business! Seriously?! Since when do you not have enough bagels to sell a dozen at 11 a. m? So selling bagel sandwiches is more important than selling bagels? The male employee was not very kind about it either. Apparently the owner of this business doesn’t want to be profitable and doesn’t know how to operate a business, staff or employ decent employees. Give this place a miss and go somewhere else. Better yet, skip Sonora entirely. It’s dirty, crowded and they only allow parking for 3 hours. Seriously Sonora… this is how you want to attract tourism??? Go to Murphy’s, CA where they are friendly, dog friendly and want your tourism.
