This place is as ghetto as it gets. My son was going to be out of town for a month so he sent me down to give them $ 21 to keep his account active so he wouldn’t lose his item. I explained that i didn’t want the item, i didn’t even know what it was, I just wanted to give them $ 21. The little twit quoted me a rule that they couldn’t take it and the only way the account could be kept open was if my son flew back to town and walked in and paid face to face. He did say he would be nice enough to sell it to him at a fair profit after they forced the loss of it. It was clear they were taking advantage of the situation. The told me what was owed, how much to buy it after forefeiture but they wouldn’t take $ 21 cash if i laid it on the counter. It seemed they mistook my patience and quiet tone for weakness. I don’t really see them being in business much longer. Maybe they can reopen in Stocton, Compton or some other more fitting area. This place may be a good place to sell stolen property but that’s about it. Good thing they will be gone soon.

I took my almost never used Dell laptop in on LOANONLY not a pawn. I didn’t like how they needed the password to my computer, but then again, I guess they needed it to see the battery worked n maybe in case I didn’t pick it up? Anyways I got it out about 10 weeks later n my laptop is crashing! It is full of viruses and malware warning me that every key stroke I make may be monitored and that someone may be able to remotely view my webcam! Also it will no longer connect to the internet and it crashes. It was NOT like that before and a programmer confirmed that It would have had to be done while it was in the pawn shop because it was not like that before! When I called the shop to ask about it, I got a promise they would call me back, but of course they never did! Also kinda dumb they are the only pawn shop I’ve seen that is open during regular business hours only n not on Saturdays!

Just one reason I like pawn shops!!. If you ever been to the las vegas pawn shops you know there expensive but these guys are priced amazing. I decided to trade my bass gutair and keyboard for some mining equipment Keene sluice witch retails for 200 up there price 59 $! And also traded for a bounty hunter metal detector !!! Amazing guys yes pawn shop prices are high but they have overhead. These guys prices are more then fair if not better. they had a atk. gold metal detector for 160 $$ look online how much they go for will be back.

This pawn shop is terrible. Considering that less than ¾ mile down the street there are dozens of jewelry, antique and collectibles stores and this pawn shop has lousy customer service and limited inventory. Mother Lode in Sonora has a ton of dirty tools, twenty or so handguns and several dozen rifles. There’s some jewelry and broken pocket watches. The one consistent factor in the store aside from bad customer service: overpriced items. Old games were priced at close to retail, basic used and damaged Amazon Kindles at $ 7 off, old Vizio 15″ LCD screens for over $ 120. The woman who helped me and my girlfriend rolled her eyes at me and sarcastically laughed at me while she was trying to get my gf’s ring size, because I mentioned that temperature and humidity can alter optimum ring size. Very rude.
