Sonora Aladdin Motor Inn

Hotel is nice. Hotel staff are friendly. The only thing is, it needs remodeling. Shower wouldn’t drain water, and for the size of the room, the tv is really small. They give you 2 vouchers for the café next door, which is really nice and great food. & you can also buy a $ 4 voucher for food next door at the café, if you have more then 2 people.

I came in Sonora few times to work at the overpass, doing erosion control type of work. My stay on this comfortable place has always been good. I like the friendly staff, the room price and the early morning breakfast next door. Easy to park, even with a 22 foot long trailer. Gas station next door and food places really closed. Like it.

I stayed here the weekend of September 4 and 5. I noticed the tv was cracked so I let the front desk know. I recieved a letter saying they were charging my credit card to replace the tv saying I broke it. I did not break the tv. So I was charged almost 200 dollars for a tv I didn’t break. Poor business practice. I will never stay or recommend this place.

Nice staff, dated motor court hotel, very clean, good location a bit noisy on highway side of hotel. Very nice diner and gas station next door. Reasonable and would stay again.

Hotel is very clean with spacious room. Very good for the money. They offer complimentary coffee, which a lot of hotels are now opting out of doing. The only problem I had was with the people that stayed here. They were slamming doors all morning. Not the hotels fault, but maybe if they installed soft closers so that the doors wouldn’t slam, it would fix the problem, because it was incredibly annoying and inconsiderate.

Clean, spacious rooms with everything you need. The staff were friendly, informative and eager to help. I would recommend staying here to anyone passing through Sonora.

When I reserved the hotel through their website, I reserved for the Mini Suite and requested for a ground floor room as I have children with me. I received an email within half an hour saying Mini Suite is on the second floor but they can accommodate me on the ground floor with a regular room for a lower price. I called and agreed. It was a nice of the hotel to contact me right away about the issue and I certainly appreciate it.
The room was clean, nice and equipped with a microwave, fridge and TV. Everyone at the hotel was very nice and professional. They provided free breakfast vouchers for the restaurant next door and I have to say that it was a really good breakfast.
I had gone to Yosemite from Oakhurst before and that drive was horrible full of windy roads. Drive to Yosemite west entrance from Sonora was a thousand times better. Anytime I go back from Yosemite in the future, I will go from Sonora.
If I return to Sonora, I will certainly consider coming back to this hotel.

All of the staff is super sweet. The inn is old and you can tell by the furnishings, but it was very clean. Beds were comfortable. The room price is a little higher than what I would’ve liked, but then again we did receive 2 breakfast vouchers to eat next door. The food was good and service was good there as well. We had a good nights sleep. Only a couple times did I hear people walking upstairs. That’s normal tho. All in all no complaints and I’d probably stay here again. A part of me wants to give 4 stars, but I’ll give 5 because the staff was great and the room did serve its purpose. I got to spend some time with my oldest son who lives in the area. :)

I showed up on June 27^th, 2015 with a huge gang of friends to do a parking lot event. I think we booked just about every room.
First of all. my room was CLEAN. and I loved everything about it. Lots of Ice. wonderful soaps and stuff for the bathrooms. The carpet and drapes and furnishing. were the best. Its more than just a clean place its quiet, lots of space to walk around. The pool and hot tub were also clean and wonderful working order. I will certainly return.

I must say I really loved the coupon offered for breakfast next door. You can choose from 6 items or simply get $ 5.00 taken off any menu item. My perfectly made breakfast was 2 pork chops, 3 eggs, 4 pancakes, potatoes, oj, coffee all for like $ 7.00. (Hear that Ritz? — Which I think you guys would charge at least $ 30.00)

Nicer than inns of California BY FAR. Room was clean, pool was clean. Check in was quick and the front desk staff was friendly.
Breakfast was quaint but nice and fresh and the kitchen area was also clean. Slept on a comfy bed except the AC kept turning on and off randomly, it would get way too hit before it would kick on. Other than that, I’d stay here again.

I mean, it’s not the Ritz Carlton, but it’s a nice place to stay in Sonora. Clean, quiet, and a really good continental breakfast! I would have given 5 stars, but we weren’t able to use the hot tub because a bunch of drunk people with a cooler of beer were hogging it.
