I had my bouquets and boutonnières dome my this fabulous little shop. They were exactly what I wanted. I wanted just simple pink carnations and they looked fabulous! I’m so glad I went here!

Never doing business here again. Where do I begin. Well let’s just say I went in to order my finances bouquet and corsages for my groomsmen about 4 weeks before the biggest day of my life. I brought in photos and sat and talked with the owner Julie for about an hour. We came up with the most amazing bouquet and flowers. I rushed to my finances and let her know what I had just done and recommended she also deal with Julie. A few days later my fiancé went in and met with Julie for over an hour to get the girls flowers and the order just right. So far so good. So I get a call the day before the wedding, which is over an hour away, from the wedding planner. Apparently our whole order was delivered a day early by the owner herself. My wedding planner let her know the refrigerator was full of vegetables and would not recommend leaving the flowers. Julie, the owner, refused to take the flowers back. At this point I called Sonora Florist and explained the situation. About a half an hour later I received a call from the owner/delivery driver. She suggested that she could redeliver on the actual day they were to be delivered. I obviously said please do but voiced my concern of the flowers integrity after being shipped back and forth. Julie assured me they flowers would be perfectly fine. About 3 hours before my wedding I get a call from my soon to be mother-in law. My fiancé is in total tears on her big day. The bouquets delivered on our wedding day were completely different than the bouquets delivered the day before. My fiancé voiced her displeasure of the order and Julie, the owner, told her to «just concentrate on the fact that she has a man who loves her» and left. Who does that!!! The one request my wife had was to have no roses in any of the bouquets, all bouquets were to be only peonies and ranunculus, when flowers arrived they were all roses and very small bouquets. My mother-in law had to combine two of the bouquets to make my wife’s bouquet. A couple days after the wedding my wife and I went down to Sonora Florist to see if we could reconcile the debacles. We entered the florist and were told Julie just left on a long day of deliveries. So I left my phone number to get a call back later that day. Since we were downtown we decided to grab lunch a couple doors down. About 45 minutes later, after lunch, we walked by the back door of Sonora Florist, on our way to the car. To our surprise, their was Julie, arranging flowers in a vase I said,“Hi Julie” and she was so shocked to see us standing there. Again we voiced our concern over everything but she refused to take responsibility and basically blamed us for the lack of communication. How rude!!! But surprisingly she offered to refund $ 200 on a $ 650 order. I wasn’t going to leave a review on Unilocal but I feel she took no responsibility and even insulted us at the same time. Let’s just say Sonora Florist will never get my business again. Smh

I ordered a 4th of July bouquet for my mother-in-law who lives in Columbia, CA. She’s hosting the family this weekend, I wanted to do something nice. Besides, my husband, brother-in-law and cousin being Marines, we’re a pretty patriotic family. I called this florist and asked them what they could do without lilies that was red, white and blue. I saw their reviews, researched their website and wanted to give them my business. I had done some research on the internet, so I knew what some of the basic bouquets were — red roses, white lilies and either iris or some other blue flower. Online, those ranged from $ 50 – 65. But because of their location, I couldn’t order through one of the online retailers, so I called this florist directly. I spoke to a very nice woman who suggested red gerbera daisies, blue delphinium and white spider mums. I asked if she had an American flag to put into the bouquet and she said yes. Perfect… or so I thought. When it arrived, my father-in-law sent me a photo. For $ 70.00, I got a 3.5″ square tall cobalt glass vase with two red gerbera daisies, three spider mums and two sprigs of blue delphinium. They also put in the flag, some red/white/blue ribbon and some red sparkly sprig stuff(which I didn’t ask for). I’m not exaggerating when I say this — I could have 2−3x more flowers at the local super market for at least half the price, maybe more. When I called back, he explained that with the $ 10 delivery fee and $ 17 vase, the arrangement that I got was worth $ 53.00. I was blown away! They did offer to fix it, but I had to give up the blue cobalt vase, the ribbon and the red sprig stuff, which according to them was $ 17+. The new bouquet, for $ 70 included three red daisies, three spider mums, three sprigs of blue delphinium, 3 – 5 red tulips, and some white and blue filler flower — all in a plain glass vase. At this point, I’m not going to bother arguing with them. While the flowers looked to be of a great quality, I would give them 1 star, but because they tried to fix it, I gave them two. However, I will never use them again and would caution anyone else to unless you show them a photo of EXACTLY what you want and agree on the price.

This place is fantastic! John and Cathy were such a pleasure to work with. I was out of town and wanted a special brides bouquet made, they were so helpful. They even sent pics along the way! I really appreciate them more than they know. They made this day very special. I highly recomend them!

My experience with this florist was wonderful and I would use them again for my next event. Their customer service was tailored to my needs, including the owner offering to meet me in Jamestown(I live in Copperopolis) to deliver a bridal bouquet the morning of the wedding, one of her days off. Also appreciated her reasonable prices. The bridal bouquet was beautifully done, the centerpiece was gorgeous. And she added a few extra flowers she’d had leftover from another wedding at no charge. Each of the staff I encountered were helpful and friendly. Thank you Mountain Laurel Florist, really appreciated your service.

This is my first Unilocal review. When a company goes so over and beyond your expectations I feel it’s important! I called and ordered my mom flowers for her birthday. The woman on the phone was incredibly helpful as I had no idea what I wanted. Boy did she come through! My mom called extatic! «The most beautiful arrangement I’ve ever seen!» And believe me I’ve sent her flowers alot and usually she’s telling me «I hope you didn’t pay to much for these! Their ok.» So a big thank you! Definitely recommend them!

I contacted this florist one day before a memorial to order flowers upon another family members request. I told them what we wanted and I wasn’t picky. I even paid in full and they assured me that the flowers would be delivered to the memorial chapel. I provided them with the name and address of the chapel to ensure they had the correct information. When we showed up to the chapel for the viewing the flowers were nowhere to be found. When I asked the staff at the chapel where the flowers were, they said no flowers were delivered but that they would check in the back. They checked and nothing was there. They called the florist for me and apparently the florist«forgot» about my order. While they did refund my card, it still boggles my mind how you«forget» about someones order when the order was placed less than 24 hours prior.
