Great front desk staff (Mari), awesome nurses (Monica and the lady who took my temperature and blood pressure) and a comforting atmosphere. Many thanks to Dr. Summa for actually taking the time for me and explaining in plain English (not in garbled doctor speak) what is happening with my neck!
My only regret is that I should have come here sooner but that was not in my control.
Dr. Summa explained what the options are and various treatments that can be done but in the end I may be facing surgery next year.
Everyone here deserves a hearty round of applause!

Does anyone know where Dr Daniels went?
He performed spinal surgery on my mom and I have to give his work, bedside manner, and attentiveness 5 stars. I can’t tell you how many nurses told us what a great Dr he is and we agree, Great guy!!!
He left the practice and is now with Coastal Health Partners.

Dr. Kassell is helpful and friendly. Very knowledgable and listens to your problem he and treats you accordingly. Dr. Gowda on the other hand, makes diagnosis without even seeing you. As soon as she sits down, she’s looking at the door, ready to leave. She’s short with you and doesn’t listen. One of those people who believe she knows it all. The biggest thing is she refuses to listen to you. She makes decisions based off of case studies and not what you tell her. Find a different doctor. She also believes she knows what every other doctor will do. Avoid her at all costs.

I have been a patient of Dr. Alpana Gowda for almost two years. During this time, I have been treated with compassion and unbelievable care! I participated in a pain management program for eight weeks that helped me to become stronger, knowledgeable… and the best part? This workshop provided me the tools (physical therapy, nutrition, lectures, etc) to become a much stronger and confident person. I could not have done it alone!
Dr. Gowda is one of the most amazing doctors I have visited for my back and stress issues .she truly cares about her patients and makes it her mission to share her immense knowledge to give her patients HOPE. and that things do get better!
Her staff is professional and always go out of their way to answer questions, provide reports and to make patients feel valued and special. Kudos to Dr. Melissa, Mario, Patrick, Christine, Richard, Diane and the rest of the hardworking and friendly front staff!
I would highly recommend Dr. Alpana Gowda. I am grateful every day that I was referred to her office. She is such an amazing doctor… in all aspects! As a doctor, she is absolutely the best!

The Awesome Doctor Christopher Summa performed a double fusion for degenerated discs in my lower spine. His calm demeanor and confidence were very comforting during what was a frightening time for me. He is supported by a terrific team of front office support, accounting department, x-​ray tech, and his equally awesome choice to assist him in surgery, Dr. Ellen Kim, who explained every step in my pre-​op appt.
