Barrington Pools

Apparently they don’t want my business. I just tried to call and schedule something and hire them, but the phone rang three times and disconnected — at 3:30 on a Friday. I even double checked the number. Guess I’ll take my money elsewhere.

My experience with Barrington Pools went way and above my expectations. My existing in ground pool had terrible leaks from our extremely cold winter, and I had two choices: fill it in with dirt, or build a brand new pool. I researched several companies and had several estimates, but Barrington was by far the most affordable. And, we went with them because Brett, the Construction Manager was top notch! He immediately put my dilemma to rest with his helpful suggestions and plan. I was hoping to have the pool completed by July 4^th, so I can have my annual party. He said it would be done, and by gosh, it was done three days ahead of that date!!! What also impressed me most was the specific crews that Brett sent out for the construction. Each crew held expertise in their area, and they worked in a very timely and professional manner. They even cleaned up so well, you hardly knew there was construction going on! Some of the other Barrington staff members I need to mention, due to their diligence and follow through are: Mark, construction supervisor; Nick the electrician; Ray who did our pool and spa decks; Matt, another supervisor, and Benito, the final inspection liaison. Our Village is tough, (Northbrook), and he was patient, tolerant and understanding. Finally, Cathy in the office was a pleasure to work with. She never was bothered with my numerous emails, phone calls, etc. If I ever needed anything, she was right on it! So, thank you Barrington Pools for being such a reputable company. It goes without saying that your professionalism and great service is why you have been in business for over 40 years!!!

Poor customer service and follow through. Made the mistake of contracting these people to inspect my pool only to find out afterwards that they weren’t interested in my business to correct the deficiencies they had identified (of course they had no issue charging me for the inspection). It took days of back and forth and was a complete waste of time.
Subsequently found a great pool service company that stood behind their [much more thorough and professional] inspection report and more than willing to work with me to not only address immediate needs and also smart enough to realize that I have a vision to renovate my pool area over the next few years. I have to rate it 1 star, which is 1 more than they deserve.

I have never had a company give such wonderful service in my life! The employees are polite, and the service team is top notch! Any problems which we have had, none at their fault, have been taken care of promptly, they make me feel like I am top priority. Thank you Barrington Pools for being the BEST pool company ever!
